Geschäftsführer der Volvo Car Germany GmbH ist seit 1. Februar 2014 Thomas Bauch. Begonnen hatte die Volvo Geschichte in Deutschland in Frankfurt am Main. 1965 folgte der Umzug ins benachbarte Dietzenbach. Die Volvo Group Trucks Deutschland GmbH war dort ebenfalls beheimatet, bevor 2004 der Umzug nach Ismaning bei München erfolgte. 1994 wechselte der Firmensitz von Volvo Car Germany nach Brühl bei Köln, bevor Anfang 1995 Räumlichkeiten in Köln-Rodenkirchen bezogen wurden. Im Rahmen des erfolgreichen Wachstums- und Transformationsprozesses eröffnete die Volvo Car Germany GmbH im November 2014 ihren neuen Hauptsitz in Köln-Deutz. Dort agiert der deutsche Importeur der schwedischen Automobil- Premiummarke auf 4.000 Quadratmetern im Torhaus des Büro Campus Deutz an der Siegburger Straße.
