Send your feedback [email protected], we will appreciate your thoughts. This app helps me plan my TV watch/recordings for the coming week. I believe it will be accurate and easy to use. The hardest part (which is not related to the app) is keeping up with the changes in TV station names and the wide range of stations available, but this app is well having a range of stations available for selection. I appreciate the automatic color coding of the movies in the guide and the ability to click on the film to learn a little bit about it, in the same way you can click on any show in the guide for resumes and tips on whether it's a repeat or a new episode. The user can also search for shows as favorites, which are then displayed in the Guide in blue. This is a great feature, but it might be even better if the user had the opportunity to request that the blue color does not apply whenever the episodes have been replayed. I literally tried every guide for free to check the TV has and found this app to be best by far. User-friendly, let's list channels in any order to satisfy you, shows channel numbers not only logos like some apps, allows you to mark your favorite genres in different colors, highlight your regular shows as favorites, which then also shows you upcoming episodes, the exact timing of the program, each program has links to Google, wikis, etc., always accurate information, allows you to set in the app reminders, as well as the calendar reminders, even in the long term. For the price of a two-week TV that is much less accurate, you get the real value for your money. The developer is always open to requests and offers actually responds to emails in a timely manner. I have and will continue to recommend this app to all and all. Keep up the great work, guys. Thanks for your review Hello. Your app to date is the best TV guide app with OzTV. Thank you! Is there any Could you only let the user search for a list of movies airing this week? OzTV had a feature like this and it was great for movie buffs. You can find movies/documentaries you'd make sense to watch, and discover ones you've never heard of but would like to see. I'm not sure if that's something you could implement, but it would be great if you could. Thanks again, and keep up the good work. You're on the winner! Hi, thanks for your amazing review we plan to introduce search filters such as categories. In the meantime you can go Explore the tab, at the bottom of this screen tap on movies, this is one of the categories it shows a list of all the upcoming movies in the guide. Many of Australia’s greatest radio serials were produced during the 1940s. Among those listed in this guide are the Sunday night one-hour plays - The Lux Radio Theatre and The Macquarie Radio Theatre (becoming the Caltex Theatre after 1947); the many Jack Davey Shows, and The Bob Dyer Show; the Colgate Palmolive variety extravaganzas, headed by Calling the Stars, The Youth Show and McCackie Mansion, which starred the outrageously funny Mo (Roy Rene). Fine drama programs produced in Sydney in the 1940s included The Library of the Air and Max Afford's serial Hagen's Circus. Among the comedy programs listed from this decade are the George Wallace Shows, and Mrs 'Obbs with its hilariously garbled language.

It isn’t a word often used in businesses, but it is a word often used about businesses. Whether a customer loves your brand, loves your menu, loves your servers or loves your culture translates into whether your business will thrive. Love is a word businesses should get comfortable with. The annual Consumer Picks special report from Nation’s Restau- rant News and WD Partners is a measure of restaurant brand success from the eyes of their guests. Surveying customers to the tune of 37,339 ratings, Lincluding specific data points on 10 restaurant brand attributes like Cleanliness, Value, Service and Craveability, Consumer Picks ranks 173 chains on whether or not their guests are feeling the love. In this year’s report, starting on page 10, there is valuable analysis on top strat- egies to win over the customer, from the simplicity of cleaning the restaurant to the more complex undertaking of introducing an app to provide guests access to quick mobile payment options. Some winning brands relaunched menus and oth- ers redesigned restaurants. It is very clear through this report’s data and operator insights that to satisfy today’s demanding consumer, a holistic approach to your brand — who you are, what you stand for, the menu items you serve, the style in which you serve it and the atmosphere you provide to your guest — is required. This isn’t anything new.

Abstract When Netflix launched in April 1998, Internet video was in its infancy. Eighteen years later, Netflix has developed into the first truly global Internet TV network. Many books have been written about the five broadcast networks – NBC, CBS, ABC, Fox, and the CW – and many about the major cable networks – HBO, CNN, MTV, Nickelodeon, just to name a few – and this is the fitting time to undertake a detailed analysis of how Netflix, as the preeminent Internet TV networks, has come to be. This book, then, combines historical, industrial, and textual analysis to investigate, contextualize, and historicize Netflix's development as an Internet TV network. The book is split into four chapters. The first explores the ways in which Netflix's development during its early years a DVD-by-mail company – 1998-2007, a period I am calling "Netflix as Rental Company" – lay the foundations for the company's future iterations and successes. During this period, Netflix adapted DVD distribution to the Internet, revolutionizing the way viewers receive, watch, and choose content, and built a brand reputation on consumer-centric innovation.

RVN‐2 refers to the broadcast license call sign of the station, “2” being the channel number of the frequency. However, RVN‐2 was also the name and reference attributed to the station and the channel for many decades amongst viewers, and up to today, those who experienced RVN‐2 sometimes still refer to the channel as that. RVN‐2 was more than just a television service. Its identity on air and its Kooringal Studio facility became local institutions equivalent to that of a landmark. The station was a major local industry, at one time employing 150 local people in various roles from production to technical to clerical, as well as providing an introduction and training ground for young television employees.

  • Of Logos, Owners, and Cultural Intermediaries: Defining an Elit
Of Logos, Owners, and Cultural Intermediaries: Defining an Elite Discourse in Re-branding Practices at Three Private Canadian Television Stations Christopher Ali University of Pennsylvania ABSTRACT This article explores the relationship between local television stations and na - tional networks through a careful study of station re-branding. The relationship is explored through case studies of the three privately owned English-speaking television stations in Win - nipeg, Canada. Through in-depth interviews with station and network executives, the author investigates the critical factors that facilitated the re-branding of Canada’s private television networks between 1997 and 2005. This period saw many English-speaking television networks unite their respective affiliate stations under a single logo and brand. Influenced by branding theory and scholarship on Canadian broadcasting, this article examines the shift away from local identification in Canadian broadcasting and the benefits, challenges, and resistances therein.
