3 that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have

been from of old, from everlasting. Micah 5:2

Jesus - the Shewbread from of Old, from Everlasting

The Bible Declares that He is from of Old, from Everlasting - The Creator

For by Him (Jesus) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: and He is before all things, and by Him all things consist. Colossians 1:16-17

The Bible Declares that He was and is God

For this man (Jesus) was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, in as much as He who hath builded the house hath more honor than the house. For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God. Hebrews 3:3-4

The Bible Declares that He is the Word of God

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with

God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made . . . And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us . . . John 1:1-3,14

4 God’s Eternal Shewbread, His Purpose

According to the eternal purpose (Shewbread) which he purposed (set forth and revealed) in Christ Jesus our Lord . . . Ephesians 3:11

His Purpose: He is the One and Only Means of Salvation

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. John 3:36

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 1 Timothy 2:5

His Purpose: God has Pre-Chosen the Second Man

• Salvation is not IN the First Man (The Body of Death)

• Salvation is only IN the Second Man (The Body of Christ)

5 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 1 Corinthians 15:21-22

Proorizō [Praw-ah-ritzo] The pre-decision, The predetermination, The eternally established inner wiring of the will; that which is set and hardened long ago - that which is set forth to reveal His glory

What Did the Shewbread Reveal?

The First Man is Condemned The Second Man is Salvation The First Man is Rejected The Second Man is Elected The First Man is Dirty, Soiled, and Sinful The Second Man is Without Sin, Without Spot, and Perfectly Righteous The First Man is Unlike God The Second Man is the Son of God The First Man is Eternally Cut off from the Sacred, Holy Presence The Second Man is brought near unto the Throne of Grace The First Man is Earthy, bearing the image of the Earthy The Second Man is the Lord from Heaven, bearing the image of God The First Man is the Fool The Second Man is Wisdom The First Man is under Wrath The Second Man is Justified before the Law The First Man is Self-Effort The Second Man is God-Effort

6 The First Man is Ishmael The Second Man is Isaac The First Man is Esau The Second Man is Jacob (Israel) The First Man is King Saul The Second Man is King David The First Man is Under Law The Second Man is Under Grace The First Man is Adam The Second Man is Jesus

The Shewbread God has Pre-Chosen the Second Man

• Salvation is not IN the First Man (The Body of Death)

• Salvation is only IN the Second Man (The Body of Christ)

He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Hebrews 9:2,6-8; 10:9-10

What Did God’s Shewbread Reveal? That the Salvation of God is not . . . • in Adam • in Ishmael • in Esau • in the Law • nor in the Flesh But, rather, it is found only . . . • in the Last Adam - the Seed of Heaven

7 • in Isaac - the child of Promise • in Jacob (Israel) - the one who Believed • and it is by Faith alone - that no man can boast

What Did the Shewbread Reveal? That there is only One Savior

There is only One that is Perfect There is only One that is Righteous There is only One that is Holy There is only One that is Just There is only One that is Pleasing There is only One that is Worthy There is only One that is Exalted There is only One that is Glorified There is only One that is the Son of God There is only One lineage that counts and that receives the Promise ALL Glory, ALL Praise, ALL Power are HIS

What Did the Shewbread Reveal?

8 That He is that One

. . . that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which

are in heaven and which are on earth--in Him . . Ephesians 1:10

The Lineage of the Shewbread

But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out

of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. Micah 5:2

Beyth Lechem - Bāth leh'·khem

House of Bread (food), House of the food of God, Body of God become food

The Feeding Trough

. . . Jesus was born in Beyth Lechem Matthew 2:1

Ye shall find the babe . . . lying in a phatnē. Luke 2:11-12 9 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread. And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believes on me shall never thirst . . . I am that bread of life. Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat? Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eats my flesh, and drinks my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eats my flesh, and drinks my blood, dwells in me, and I in him. As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eats me, even he shall live by me. John 6: 32-35; 48-57

The Twelve Cakes of Shewbread Come to the Bread, Eat the Bread, Be Changed by the Bread, and Become . . . (ahem) . . . shewbread (Bread that Shows the Glory of God)

Clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart. 2 Corinthians 3:3

To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ; to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.
