Chandler, who has started in all nine games for Maroon & Gold, is averaging 10.0 points this season, a mark that leads all Valley freshmen and ranks 19th overall in the conference. Sydney Thurwalker (UE) - In the Thursday game against Illinois State, sophomore Sydney Thurwalker continued to be an impact player for the Aces. Thurwalker scored nine points and gathered six boards against the Redbirds on Thursday. Over the last six games, Thurwalker is averaging 8.2 points, 6.2 boards, and 25.0 minutes per contest. In the four previous games she appeared in, Thurwalker averaged just 1.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 11.3 minutes per game. DeAnna Wilson (ILS) - Sophomore DeAnna Wilson posted her first career double-double, netting 12 points and 13 boards in just 17 minutes of action in Thursday’s 73-48 win over Evansville. The St. Louis native was also an impressive 6-of-6 at the charity stripe and now leads the Redbirds in rebounding, averaging 6.1 boards per game on the season.
