Dear members of the RREC…

For the last 15 years the Rolls-Royce and Bentley Meeting has become the perfect opportunity to enjoy a nice holiday at the Seehotel Europa, to catch up with friends and like-minded people and to explore the most scenic routes in the Alps Adriatic region (Carinthia – Slovenia – Italy).

I have been member of the English RREC since 1991. Over the last 15 years I had the honour to welcome about 450 participants from 12 different countries here in Velden am Wörthersee. Every year, the presentation of our beautiful cars in the town centre, in front of the famous Falkensteiner Schlosshotel Velden, attracts numerous spectators.

Last year, the members of the “Automobil Veteranen Club Austria“ (AVCA) joined the meeting for the first time. From the very beginning, R-R and Bentley owners from Switzerland brought their beautiful cars to our meeting. Over the years we built lots of new friendships. This year the RREC Swiss Section will be our official partner, which is a special recognition of all our efforts.

So, we wish you a fantastic stay on Lake Wörthersee and best weather to enjoy the unique beach of the Seehotel and to dive into the clear water of the lake. Renate and Jakob Wrann, the owners of the Seehotel Europa are well-known for their hospitality. Together with their team they provide the best service to make your holiday an unforgettable experience.

We are pleased to welcome our regular participants as well as new ones and we are looking forward to meeting you all here in Velden am Wörthersee.

All payments must be made ‘free of charge for the recipient’. To avoid high charges for participants from a country not being part of the EU, we offer payment in cash upon arrival. Declaration of liability The organizer of this event is the: AVCA in cooperation with the tourist board Velden (Veldener Tourismusgesellschaft) Every driver is responsible for ensuring that his vehicle is in a perfectly technical state to be safe on the road. 1.Every participant must apply to the Austrian Road Traffic Regulations and the Austrian Law concerning motor vehicles. 2.The organizers do not take any responsibility for personal or material damage that have been occurred, before, during or after the event. The participants in any case renounce for themselves all claims against the organizer, its officials and its volunteers. By signing and submitting this form the participant (m/f) declares explicitly and irrevocably that he is personally liable, under civil and criminal law, for any personal injury, material damage and damage caused to property by himself or his motor vehicle within the rally course or its facilities on the spot. In the event of a damage the responsible participant shall indemnify and hold free and harmless the organizer from any third-party claims. 3.All participants are aware that photos, films and videos made during the competition can be used for public relations purposes at any time and that they have no right to claim indemnification against the organizer, even if the publication of this material is not directly connected to the event. 4.By submitting the entry form and participate the event, the participants acknowledge as legally valid the regulations listed in the race announcement and refrain from the invocation of regular court proceedings. In case of force majeure and stipulations of public authorities the organizer is relieved of all obligation.
