My heartfelt gratitude goes to John for being a wonderful guide, always ready with help and advice, and never once losing patience with my fickle thoughts. Thank you, James Painter for all the inputs, comments and questions that helped me to shape my research paper. Dr. David Levy and. Tim Suter‘s contributions to my research were invaluable. Prof. Robert Picard‘s inputs on global media businesses and observations on ―private treaties‖ were crucial.
