Ida started her ministry as pianist/organist at St. Peter’s Church in Cazenovia in 1996. She then went on to become the Director of Music Ministry in 2008. Professor Tili-Trebicka oversees the entire Music Ministry and directs the adult and youth choirs. She also serves as pianist/organist for all church services. The two aspects that she enjoys most here at St. Peter’ is to help people dig deeper in their spiritual journey with the thematic worship music (congregational and choral) that is sung on Sunday mornings and teaching the great choral works to the choirs. She values worship music focused on praising God, teaching Scripture and sound Christian doctrine. A concert pianist and University Professor, she has received her education in church music and organ from Syracuse University, where she studied organ with Dr. Katie Pardee, while receiving graduate degrees in Piano Performance and Humanities . As a pianist, Ida has performed throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and China, as orchestral soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician. Ida has been featured on Albanian National Radio-Television, Italian Broadcasting Corporation RAI 2, Radio Ancona, Italy, and locally on WCNY in Syracuse, WBFO in Buffalo and WCCA TV 13 in Boston. Invited by the Italian Federation of Women of Professions, Arts and Affairs and the Universities of Torino and Ancona, she has performed solo recitals in Ancona, and Torino. In 2004, 2005, 2007 she performed in Florence, Italy, and in May of 2005, accompanied Syracuse University’s Hendricks Chapel Choir in a concert tour to China and Hong Kong. Ida has collaborated continuously with members of Orchestras such as, Athens, Bari, Paris, Sarajevo, Amsterdam, and Munich etc. Ida made her New York City debut in 2001 at the Merkin Hall, and continues to play at the city regularly In venues such as the Tenri Cultural Center, the Victor Borge Hall, at the Scandinavian House. She performs all over the United States, and has given concerts at Boston University, Houston TX, Davis CA, Florida, Hartford Community College, CT, Cleveland Ohio, Hamilton College in Clinton NY, Utica College, Binghamton University, Lemoyne College in Syracuse, etc. Invited by the Albanian- American Association of Houston, TX as well as the Massachusetts Albanian American Society “Besa” (MASSBESA,) and the Albanian Embassy in NY City, she has performed numerous concerts to benefit the Albanian American Heritage School. Locally, Ida performs regularly under the auspices of Syracuse University, Civic Morning Musicals, Society for New Music and Symphoria; she collaborates frequently with members of Symphor!a, in annual chamber music concerts. She is a founding member of “Amida” piano Duo with her pianist - friend Amy Heyman and of the “40 Fingers” piano quartet. She has given masterclasses at many colleges, and is in demand as a stage performer. A Professor of Practice at the Setnor School of Music at Syracuse University, Ida is committed to teaching music to younger generation and installing in them the love of music. Prof. Tili Trebicka serves as a Director on the Board of Civic Morning Musicals and CNY Music Teachers Association. She is affiliated with NYSMTA, MTNA (Musical Teachers National Organization), Music College Society, National Music Honor Society, International Music Scholars, and has been awarded many prizes and awards, such as 2014 CMM’s “Performer of the Year” in the Central New York Area. .
