Children of Eden – General Information and History, Themes and Meaning Children of Eden is an original musical conceived by Charles Lisanby, with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, and book by John Caird. It has not played on Broadway, but in 1998, RCA recorded the score from the final version of the show, performed by the cast of a Paper Mill Playhouse production. There is no DVD of the show.
