 Steven Spielberg is a famous director and he was diagnosed with dyslexia. He was bullied because of his religion but he was never ashamed to be Jewish. Spielberg said “I never felt like a victim,” “Movies really helped me ... kind of saved me from shame, from guilt. Making movies was my great escape.”  He won a gold medal competing in the skeleton (bobsled) event at the 2002 Winter Olympics  He was dyslexic  As a child, Jim‟s dyslexia put him in special education classes; he was also teased, bullied, and suffered from low self-esteem and depression.

 He stumbled helplessly through the nightmare of reading aloud in class. Peers taunted him. Bullies toyed with him. His self- esteem was nonexistent.  Sports had saved him, and he was more than happy to immerse himself. It was his birthright

She endured a lot of teasing from other kids. The movie, Erin Brockovich, is about her work in a legal action against PG&E (Pacific Gas and Electric Company).

According to fellow students, Watson was frequently mocked in classes, with students chiming in, “Three points for Gryffindor!” and other taunts when she answered questions in classes.  He is an American singer-songwriter, actor, dancer, and record producer. He is one of the world's best-selling music artists. Justin Timberlake revealed that he has both Attention Deficit Disorder and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and is quoted as saying “I have OCD mixed with ADD. His approachable cuisine has seen him front numerous television shows and open many restaurants. Chef Jamie Oliver has authored over twenty cookbooks, and currently holds the title of world‟s richest chef. With that in mind, it might surprise you to learn that he only finished reading his first book in 2013.  “There‟s nothing to worry about, you‟ve just got to try – because the things that you can flourish at might not be in school....There are loads of places for creative people or people who can physically express themselves in different ways.”

 Daniel Radcliffe is a famous actor that was also playing the main character of Harry Potter. He has dyspraxia. It is a common neurological problem that impairs the organization of movement, often with no obvious cause. Acting helped him to get over the problem he has by stop thinking he is „different‟ and useless .

Miley Cyrus is an actress and a singer. She was not popular as a teen . While she was young she was being teased. Fortunately for her, Cyrus did not listen to them and by scoring the role of “Hannah Montana” she became famous. Tom Cruise, the star of Top Gun and Mission Impossible , when he was a child he wasn‟t so appreciated. Cruise‟s childhood was spent on the move, as his father constantly uprooted the family to find a new source of work and support the family. As a result, he was always establishing himself over and over again at new schools: “I was always the new kid with the wrong shoes, the wrong accent. I didn‟t have the friend to share things with and confide in.” And at each school, he faced the fresh experience over and over again. He was small for his age and easily pushed around. Eventually, he learned to stand up for himself, but at every new school, he had to fight over and over again. Cruise after all he turned a corner, deciding, “I‟m going to create, for myself, who I am, not what other people say I should be.” World Champion in gymnastics, Vlasis Maras, in his school years was a victim of bullying for his height, as his classmates had called him short. It did not put him down and he advises children not to put it down and cultivate their talent. Isaiah Matiaba, singer, in his school years, was bullied because of his color. In high school someone had hit him, calling him "black"! Kalomira is a famous singer who participated in Eurovision song contest. She was often forced to endure her classmates' insults, because of the way she spoke, but also because her parents were poor. "Those of you who are at a vulnerable age and believe the negative stupidity that the others tell you, please listen to me: ignore all these stupid mockers”. «Be Yourself» is the message she sends. Mary Synatsaki is a TV presenter.
