In his introduction of Crump, the president of Mississippi’s chapter of the NAACP Derrick Johnson described him as a distin- guished attorney and civil rights leader who champions social jus- tice. Bishop Dr. Joseph Kopacz of- ficiated and also thanked all who came to fellowship. He agreed that the centrality of social jus- tice has always been germane to Christian teaching.
