PRESS RELEASE – July 1, 2019 Susan Carrier (951) 551-5363 [email protected] TIM McGRAW TRIBUTE COMING TO HHT For 25 years, the music of Tim McGraw has topped the country music charts, including ten #1 albums and 25 chart-topping hit songs. His 2006 tour with wife Faith Hill became one of the highest grossing tours in country music history. On Friday July 12, the music of Tim McGraw takes center stage at the Historic Hemet Theatre with a tribute by Nashville recording artist and Las Vegas Entertainer Adam D. Tucker. The show, "Vegas McGraw" has captivated audience across the country, including as the opening act for stars such as Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton, Trace Adkins, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Jason Aldean and many more. Top hits by Tim McGraw include "Live Like You Were Dying," "If You're Reading This," "I Need You," "Highway Don't Care," "Grown Men Don't Cry," and "Please Remember Me." Meanwhile, there are still tickets left for this weekend's Tribute to Led Zeppelin by the acclaimed tribute band, Led Zepagain. The group broke attendance records last year and is back for an encore performance at Hemet's vintage movie house. Saturday's show will also feature the much-anticipated announcement of the next season of Tribute Mania concerts. Season Three begins August 31st and will host 8 concerts, including 2 returning groups and 6 bands new to the venue. The remaining concert in Season Two are tributes to Aerosmith (7/20), REO Speedwagon (8/3), and Tom Petty (8/17). FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE REO SPEEDWAGON RESCHEDULES CONCERT AT FOUR WINDS NEW BUFFALO Concert moved to Friday, November 9 NEW BUFFALO, Mich. – January 24, 2018 – The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians’ Four Winds® Casinos announce the performance date for REO Speedwagon at Four Winds New Buffalo’s® Silver Creek® Event Center has changed to Friday, November 9, 2018 at 9 p.m. All tickets purchased for the concert originally scheduled for February 9 will be honored at the November 9 performance. Deana Carter Danny Myrick
Deana Carter DEANA CARTER, the daughter of famed studio guitarist and producer Fred Carter, Jr., grew up surrounded by musical greats, including Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, Waylon Jennings, and Simon & Garfunkel. She developed her songwriting skills at writer’s nights throughout Nashville, but her real break came when one of her demo tapes fell into the hands of Willie Nelson, who remembered Deana as a child. Impressed with how she’d grown as a songwriter, Nelson asked Deana to perform along with John Mellencamp, Kris Kristofferson, and Neil Young, as the only female solo artist to appear at Farm Aid VII in 1994. Her 1996 debut album Did I Shave My Legs for This? quickly climbed to the top of both the country and pop charts, quickly achieving multi-platinum status. "Strawberry Wine,” the first single from the album, was awarded CMA's 1997 Single of the Year. Seven albums and a decade later, Deana is still writing and producing for both the pop/rock and country markets when not on the road touring. Her superstar success continues to be evident. Her chart topper “You & Tequila,” co-written with Matraca Berg and recorded by Kenny Chesney, was nominated in 2011 as CMA’s “Song of the Year” and received two Grammy nods. Carter also recently co-wrote and produced a new album for recording artist Audra Mae while putting the finishing touches on her own Southern Way of Life that hit the shelves last December. Motor City call letters including WCSX, WRIF, WOMC, WKQI, WJR, WWWW and WYCD have become famous over the years with help from Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Steve Kostan and Arthur Penhallow, National Radio Hall of Famers Dick Purtan, J.P. McCarthy, Steve Dahl and Howard Stern, and Country Radio Hall of Famer Dr. Don Carpenter, to name a few. Not a bad pedigree. PPM market No. 12 is changing, though, especially with respect to Country. For starters, CBS Radio’s WYCD got its first direct challenger in four years when Cumulus Adult Hits WDRQ adopted the company’s Nash brand in late 2013 (Breaking News 12/13/13). And just a few weeks ago Carpenter ended his 10- year WYCD morning run, which led to other on-air changes at the station (CAT 8/5).
