HENDERSON — This writer got emails of day-by-day results of 2012 Alka-Seltzer Plus Liquid Gels USBC Masters from Lucas Wiseman of USBC Communications. The first two days results contains names and placing’s of 305 bowlers entered in the tournament. This writer always looked at them in hope of finding if a deaf bowler’s name in the list. The search turned up one in 183 place Thomas Parker of Columbus, Ohio. We knew a good deaf bowler now residing in Columbus, OH names Tom Parker but never had known him to use Thomas in his bowling entries. February 2, 2012 BOWLING NEWS Page 3

We also had highs from Ty- ler Savlerda 279-232-225, Ashley Dunn 279, Treven Goldsmith $4 Interception 225-257, Bianca Taylor 223-255, Spencer Van Rijsbergen 255, Daniel Martinez 254, Karlie Loop 248, Joseph Velick 246, Sarah $5 The Touchdown Schneider 245, Baujee Harlan 244-232-243, Kyle Duster 237- 239-227, Jacob Camacho 236, Marguerite Evans 231, Terrence $5 The Snap Robinson 228, and James Knapp 225. Struckman led all at plus 157, while it took minus 20 to make the cut. $6 Hail Mary In match play highs kept on coming with Salverda 223- 224-288, Goldsmith 279-245-232, Brittany Kolatzny 222-278, Struckman 268-258-229, Loop 257-223-223-221, Taylor 248- 228-223-226, Harlan 247-239, Knapp 237, Duster 229-224-235, Dunn 234, and Camancho 222-222. The biggest jumps during match play came from Kolatzny with seven positions, Loop with a five position jump and Taylor, also with five positions, putting her into the finals. And those finals started off with the 5th seed Taylor (+262) taking on the 4th seed Duster (+276). Here Duster started his climb with a 247-212 win. Next up was the 3rd seed Goldsmith (+281) and in a closer match, Duster advanced once again 217- 210. Now against the 2nd seed Salverda (+381) Duster squeaked by 184-178 to meet top seed Struckman (+448) in the best of three games. Duster took the first game 179-170, which was way to close against the leader. In game two, Duster made sure there was distance between the two with a 268-197 victory, capturing his first JAT Farm Club title. Congratulations Kyle.
