We are pleased to be in Lincoln for our 15th annual media day as we prepare to kick-off another year of football in the GPAC. I want to thank Julie Page from the Cornhusker Marriott, Brian Keller from Nebraska Wesleyan, and GPAC Assistiant Commissioner Lucas Mohrman for their assistance in preparing for this annual event. Excitement for media day continues to grow each year in the league from our inaugural event back in 2000 at Mahoney State Park. A special thank you to our GPAC Football Officials Coordinators Justin Ingalls and Pete Hansen for their atten- dance today as well. It’s positive for the GPAC to have the Officials Coordinators and coaches in the same room at the same time for discussion on rules and interpretations prior to the season. Also, once again this year, we will be conducting a media poll along with the coaches’ poll for the preseason.
