Map Information Following an outbreak of sectarian violence in and Buthidaung townships between Rakhine Buddhists and Muslim Rohingyas, the government declared a state of emergency in the northwestern state and imposed a dawn-to-dusk curfew. A large military presence has been deployed and several transport routes to and from are disrupted and/or suspended.
