POTTERY BOWL AND SERVING DISH From Timco Art Pottery, we have two lovely pottery pieces. The large pottery bowl is made of clay, glaze and stoneware, and was thrown on a wheel with a cobalt glossy glaze. Oven, microwave and dishwasher safe, it measures 4" x 12.5". The serving dish was wood-fired with a salt- glaze. Dishwasher and microwave safe, it measures 4.6" x 11.5". Ann and Tom Northrup 11. ARTICLE TWO-TIERED TRADEMARKS Glynn S. Lunney, Jr.* ABSTRACT Today, we have a two-tiered trademark system. In the upper tier, both parties can afford to litigate. In the lower tier, only one party can. This two-tiered system has arisen over the last century because courts refused to follow the law. Faced with enforcing trademark law that led to seemingly unjust outcomes, courts re- wrote trademark law. When those rewrites led to different sorts of apparent injustices, courts rewrote trademark law again. And they did not do so as part of any systematic and coherent plan; instead, judges rewrote the law through ad hoc decision-making, attempt- ing to achieve what they perceived to be justice for the parties be- fore them. The net result has been a sharp increase in the com- plexity, uncertainty, and expense associated with trademark disputes.

    Illinois Film Production Services Tax Credit Annual Report FY2018 July 1, 2017 – June 30, 2018 When a production company is ready to claim their credit, they engage an Illinois licensed independent Certified Public Accountant who submits a report attesting to the qualified expenses including exact numbers of Illinois residents hired, and vendors used. However, the Film Tax Credit rule provides qualified productions up to two years from the completion of the project to claim a tax credit. Therefore, the figures reported may be for projects dating back to 2012. Beginning in FY2015 Q1, reporting methodology was changed from using spending estimates provided upon application to actual expenditures reported when the credit is claimed. However, we continue to report estimates for performance metrics. Estimates, while less precise, are timelier. Furthermore, projects awarded tax credits during this period may have been previously counted using the prior methodology.
