TREE IN THE TRIANGLE... For many years the folks in St. James, and those passing though the hamlet via North Country Road, were greeted by a beautiful tall evergreen tree standing majestically in the tri - angle across from the St. James Fire House. At the holiday sea - son the tree was decorated with colored lights, sharing the triangle with the creche at Christmas and the menorah at Hanukkah. Unfortunately the tree had to come down. A very generous resident missed the tree’s uplifting greeting as he traversed the town; enough to donate a magnificent Blue Spruce to grace the triangle well in time for the holidays. There is a dedication planned for December... we will keep you posted. So in the mean time just enjoy the return of the Tree in the Triangle.
