Mining lawsuit, in the courts in Salt Lake City, Utah, against the United Mine Workers of America, and Co-Op miners fighting for the union, newspapers such as the Militant that have written about this struggle, and groups and individuals who have backed the miners, is an attempt to chill free speech and intimidate supporters of the miners. Such attacks on labor rights and the First Amendment should not be tolerated.
