Juniors Education
Last year…several of our Juniors inquired about having the opportunity to learn about different breeds, as their knowledge is somewhat limited to what they own and show. In response, the MSDA has decided to invite the Juniors to attend our sporting dog seminars, free of charge ! Just like our judges, they may select 8 breeds to study over the weekend. We are also asking for a couple of alternate breeds in case there are scheduling conflicts.
The location of our seminars is the Ortonville State Recreation Area. The address is 5867 Hadley Road, Ortonville Mi 4862. The seminars start promptly at 8am and finish at 4:30. Lunch will be served to all who attend. The dates are June 22nd and 23rd, 2019. Schedules and a site map will be sent out a week or two before the seminars.
The breeds:
American Water Spaniel, Barbet, Bracco Italiano, Brittany, Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Clumber Spaniel, Cocker Spaniel, Curly Coated Retriever, English Cocker Spaniel, English Setter, English Springer Spaniel, Field Spaniel, Flat Coated Retriever, German Shorthaired Pointer, German Wirehaired Pointer, Golden Retriever, Gordon Setter, Irish Red & White Setter, Irish Setter, Labrador Retriever, Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, Pointer, Spinoni Italiani, Sussex Spaniel, Vizsla, Weimaraner, Welsh Springer Spaniel, Wirehaired Pointing Griffon, and the Wirehaired Vizsla.
