Nova Tech 1 Last weekend, 5 of our best skated at the annual Rob McCall 10 yrs old, Memorial in Dartmouth and all 5 brought home hardware. On 1st year with GDSC Friday, James Hazelton and Meghan Breckon started things off Favourite Stroke: Butterfl y with Gold and Bronze respectively in their short programs. On Other Interests: Piano Saturday, Alex Robert kicked off the day with great performance of his James Bond program and captured Gold. Later in the day, Meghan followed up with another Bronze with an almost perfect skate in Junior Silver Ladies. Jenna Breckon, who was 8th out of 15 in the short program, came back strong in the Pre- Novice Long and fi nished with a best ever score and a Bronze medal...3rd out of 23 skaters! James repeated with a Gold in the Novice men’s long program on Saturday night and on Sunday, Erika Rice followed up with a Bronze in the interpretive category. All skaters were noticed for their strong performances.
