Summary of Betting Rules Summary of Betting Rules 1. Introduction a) The Complete Betting Rules govern the use of the French Lick Casino Sportsbook. When placing a bet with French Lick Casino Sportsbook, the patron is therefore agreeing that the patron has read, understood, and will be adhering to the Complete Betting Rules at any time applicable to French Lick Casino Sportsbook. b) The use of this Sportsbook is subject to the regulations imposed by the Indiana Gaming Commission. c) Any dispute or question relating in any way to the use of this Sportsbook needs to be submitted to French Lick Casino Sportsbook during normal business hours. d) French Lick Casino Sportsbook reserves the right to make changes to the betting limits, and offerings at any time. e) French Lick Casino Sportsbook may update, amend, edit and supplement the Complete Betting Rules at any time. f) Any reference in the Complete Betting Rules to words/objects that appear in singular also applies to plural. References to gender are non-binding and to be treated for information purposes only. g) We will not accept a wager from any person under the age of 21, self-excluded, VEP’s, evicted patrons or persons prohibited from engaging in sports wagering activities. Some examples are: Collegiate or professional athlete, referee, official, coach, manager, handler or athletic trainer or employee or contractor of a team or athletic organization can wager on events that they are directly or indirectly involved in. 2. Definitions a) "Error" is a mistake, misprint, misinterpretation, mishearing, misreading, mistranslation, spelling mistake, technical hazard, registration error, transaction error, manifest error, force majeure and/or similar. Examples of errors include, but are not limited to: i. bets accepted during technical problems that would otherwise not have been accepted; ii. bets placed on events/offers that have already been decided; iii. bets on markets containing incorrect participants; iv. bets placed at odds that are materially different from those available in the general market at the time the bet was placed; v. bets offered at odds which reflect an incorrect score situation; or else, vi. odds being clearly incorrect given the chance of the event occurring at the time the bet was placed. b) "Influence Betting" is an act, prohibited by French Lick Casino Sportsbook, where a patron, or parties acting in association with a patron, can influence the outcome of a match or an event - directly or indirectly. c) "Syndicate Betting" is an act, prohibited by French Lick Casino Sportsbook, where patrons act together to place a series of bets on the same event or competition. Where there is evidence of patrons acting together in this manner French Lick Casino Sportsbook reserves the right to make the relevant bets void and/or withhold payment of returns pending the outcome of subsequent investigations. 1 Created: August 22nd, 2019 3. Bet Acceptance a) All bets made with a ticket writer in the Sportsbook, or through the self-service kiosks located in the casino, may only be made using cash or a sportsbook voucher b) A bet is not valid until it is validated and the ticket has been printed. In cases of uncertainty about the validity of a bet, patrons are requested to contact Sportsbook Management. c) Unless accepted in Error, once accepted, a bet will remain valid and cannot be withdrawn. It is the responsibility of the patron to ensure details of the bets placed are correct. French Lick Casino Sportsbook will under no circumstance accept any responsibility for any mistakes (perceived and actual), deriving from either Errors as listed in the Complete Betting Rules, or any other reason, such as but not limited to, incorrect listing of the odds/betting objects. d) Should a dispute arise about the acceptance (or lack thereof) of any transaction, the transaction server database will be the ultimate authority in deciding such matters. 4. Tickets a) Please check your ticket for accuracy as all tickets go as written after you leave the betting counter. Once a bet is accepted, tickets will not be altered or voided except at the discretion of Sportsbook Management. b) No winning bet will be paid without the customer copy of the betting ticket. c) Management is not responsible for lost, stolen, altered or unreadable tickets. d) Mail-in instructions are printed on the tickets. i. Tickets with all information filled in, a copy of a valid ID, and a self-addressed stamped envelope can be mailed to the following address for payout: French Lick Resort Casino Attn: Revenue Audit 8670 West State Road 56 French Lick, Indiana 47432 e) Winning tickets expire after one year from the time of the event. 5. Betting and Wagering Limitations a) French Lick Casino Sportsbook reserves the right to limit the amount wagered on any bet or combination of bets by a single patron. This limit may be determined on the specific sport, league and type of bet offer. b) All bet selections are subject to pre-imposed limits set solely at French Lick Casino Sportsbook's discretion. Should this limit be reached, a patron has the right to ask for it to be exceeded by means of a request effected through French Lick Casino Sportsbook’s platform. French Lick Casino Sportsbook reserves the right to accept (fully or partially) or reject the said request without any prior notice and further explanation. c) French Lick Casino Sportsbook reserves the right to decline, solely at its own discretion, all, or part of, any bet requested. d) All bets placed through any French Lick Casino Sportsbook platform, also including bets requesting manual approval, may be subject to a time delay prior to acceptance, the length of which may vary. Such delay is to be determined by French Lick Casino Sportsbook at its sole discretion. e) French Lick Casino Sportsbook reserves the right to withhold payment and/or to declare bets void on an event (or series of events), if there is sufficient evidence that any of the following has occurred: 2 Created: August 22nd, 2019 i. the integrity of the event has been called into question by an integrity monitoring provider, a regulatory agency or the sport’s governing body; ii. the price(s) or pool has been manipulated; iii. Game-fixing has taken place, or the game is under investigation for such. f) All odds offered are subject to variation. Such fluctuation is determined solely at French Lick Casino Sportsbook’s discretion. Bets are accepted only at the odds available in the betting platform at the time the bet was accepted by French Lick Casino Sportsbook. 6. Cancellation (Voiding) of Bets a) A bet can be declared void, and will be, in that event, refunded to the patron. b) A bet made as a parlay bet shall remain valid notwithstanding a game or an event which is part of the parlay bet being void. c) French Lick Casino Sportsbook reserves the right, at its own discretion, to declare a bet void, totally or partly, if it is obvious that any of the following circumstances have occurred: i. Bets have been offered, placed and/or accepted due to an Error; ii. Bets placed while the platform was encountering technical problems, that would otherwise not have been accepted; iii. Influence Betting; iv. Syndicate Betting; v. A result has been affected by criminal actions - directly or indirectly; vi. A public announcement has occurred in relation to the bet, which significantly alters the odds; Said announcement would need to consist of a dated and time stamped report, article, post, or comment from a reputable source that states factual information that was not previously available to the public. d) A parlay bet shall never include two or more offers where the outcomes might turn out to be related. Although French Lick Casino Sportsbook takes all necessary steps to prevent such possibilities, in the eventuality that this would happen, French Lick Casino Sportsbook reserves the right, solely at its own discretion, to declare void all parts of the parlay bet which include the correlated outcomes. e) Bets can be voided regardless of whether the event has been settled or not. f) Furthermore, all bets placed (and/or accepted) in the following circumstances will be declared void: Pre-game betting i. Bets placed after the event has started; ii. Bets placed after a related event was underway and where conditions could have been altered in a direct and indisputable way. In-game betting i. Bets placed at incorrect price due to delayed or failing ‘Live’ coverage; ii. Bets placed on particular offers after these have occurred, or else after an event which could normally be deemed as leading to the outcome has happened or is happening iii. Bets placed on odds which represented a different score than the actual; 3 Created: August 22nd, 2019 7. Disclaimer and Priority a) Any complaints/disagreements regarding the settlement of any wager should be reported to French Lick Casino Sportsbook within 14 days of the initial settlement in order to initiate a full investigation by the French Lick Casino Sportsbook. b) French Lick Casino Sportsbook reserves the right to suspend the status of any affected bets until it completes any investigations it deems necessary. c) French Lick Casino Sportsbook shall notify and provide the patron with a response to its investigation within five (5) days of said investigation being completed. d) If a resolution cannot be attained between French Lick Casino Sportsbook and the patron, said complaint/ disagreement will be turned over to the Indiana Gaming Commission as an unresolved complaint/ disagreement. e) These rules are applicable to all transactions with French Lick Casino Sportsbook, and may be supplemented with other rules.
