There are several reasons why the West Indies have been unable to get past Bangladesh in the league phase. The Windies haven't bowled to full potential in the Powerplays. Trinidad and Tobago's beach footballers will be looking to make it three wins out of three tomorrows when they play title holders Panama in their final group match. The local boys are already through to the quarterfinals after beating US Virgin Islands 7-2 yesterday. The quarter-finals will take place on Friday, followed by the semi-finals on Saturday and the final, and third-place match, on Sunday. The international friendly between Venezuela and scheduled for May 29th in Sabana Grande, Venezuela has been cancelled. The Trinidad and Tobago Football Association made the announcement today. A release stated the decision has come about due to the ongoing political crisis and protest actions taking place in Venezuela. No replacement game has been announced for that match. However, T&T will be taking on Japan in Aichi on June 5th in its build up to the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup. The Dennis Lawrence coached team will be facing Panama in its opening match on June 18th.
