RENEWAL OF CONSENT is hereby granted under Section 25 of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 as amended in 1988 (Central Act, 6 of 1974) (hereinafter referred to as “The Act”) and the rules and orders made there under to The Chief Executive Officer M/s.INDIANOIL LNG PRIVATE LTD, S.F.No. 7/3B part of Kattupalli Village and 1 part of Puzhuthivakkam Village inside Kamarajar Port, KATTUPALLI Village , Ponneri Taluk , Tiruvallur District . Authorising the occupier to make discharge of sewage and /or trade effluent. This is subject to the provisions of the Act, the rules and the orders made there under and the terms and conditions incorporated under the Special and General conditions stipulated in the Consent Order issued earlier and subject to the special conditions annexed. This RENEWAL OF CONSENT is valid for the period ending March 31, 2020 For Member Secretary, Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board, Chennai 1 SPECIAL CONDITIONS 1. This renewal of consent is valid for operating the facility for the manufacture of products/byproducts (Col. 2) at the rate (Col 3) mentioned below. Any change in the product/byproduct and its quantity has to be brought to the notice of the Board and fresh consent has to be obtained. Sl. Description Quantity Unit No. Product Details 1. (3) Despatch of LNG through Road tankers. 2. Captive Power Plant consisting of GEGs - 2 x 18.85 MW 9.425 MW - Operating and 1 x 9.425 MW standby.( Regasified-LNG used as Fuel) 2. This renewal of consent is valid for operating the facility with the below mentioned outlets for the discharge of sewage/trade effluent. Any change in the outlets and the quantity has to be brought to the notice of the Board and fresh consent has to be obtained. The unit shall treat and dispose the sewage generated through septic tank followed by soak pit arrangement. 2. The unit shall ensure that no trade effluent is generated from its activity under any circumstance. 3. The unit shall dispose solid waste if any scientifically then and there without any accumulation. 4. The unit shall apply and obtain authorization for handling hazardous waste under the provisions of Hazardous and other wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 within a month’s time. 5. The unit shall adhere to the guidelines of Management, Storage and Import of Hazardous Chemicals Rules 1989 (MSIHC Rules 1989) as amended. 6. The unit shall comply with the conditions stipulated in the Environmental Clearances and CRZ clearance accorded by MOEF, GOI under EIA notification2016 and CRZ notification 2011. 7. The unit shall not use ‘use and throwaway plastics’ such as plastic sheets used for food wrapping, spreading on dining table etc., plastic plates, plastic coated teacups plastic tumbler, water pouches and packets, plastic straw, plastic carry bag and plastic flags irrespective of thickness, within the industry premises.     Temples within Chennai City 1 As the famous Tamil poetess AUVAYYAR says in Her Legendary presentation of cluster of hymns “Kovil illatha ooril kudi irukkathe” Please don’t reside in a place where there is no temple. The Statement of our forefathers is sacrosanct because the temple indicates that the community is graced by the presence of God and that its Citizens form a moral community. A Community identifies and is identified by others with its temples. It has been our ancient endavour to lead a pious life with full dedication to the services of the Lord. Sri Paramacharya of Kanchi Mutt has repeatedly called devotees and stressed the importance of taking care of old temples - which requires enormous power of men and money - instead of constructing new temples in cities. As you may be aware, there are thousands of temples in dilapidated condition and requires constant maintenance work to be undertaken. There are many shiva lingas of ancient temples found under trees and also while digging. In ancient times, these lingas were 'Moolavars' of temples built by several kings. After conquests and devastations by foreign invaders, Indian temples were destructed and the sacred deities were thrown away and many were broken. The left out deities are found later. Of them, some are unidentified. Those who attempt to construct temples for gods are freed from the sins of a thousand births. Those who think of building a temple in their minds are freed from the sins of a hundred births. Those who contribute to the cause of a temple are bestowed with divine virtues and blessings.
