He started his career in audit and accoun�ng with PriceWaterhouse Australia before moving to distribu�on/logis�cs and later assumed senior execu�ve management roles in various automo�ve companies. He has a Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of Adelaide, South Australia and is a member of the Ins�tute of Chartered Accountants, Australia. NIK MUHAMMAD HANAFI NIK ABDULLAH CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER, SIME DARBY MOTORS AGE 55 INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE 33 Nik Hanafi was appointed the Head of Group Corporate Assurance for Sime Darby Berhad in November 2007, before assuming his present posi�on in Sime Darby Motors in June 2010. His current responsibili�es in Sime Darby Motors include financial management and controls, accoun�ng, risk management, IT and procurement. He is a cer�fied public accountant. DENNIS HO MANAGING DIRECTOR, ASSEMBLY AND STRATEGIC BUSINESSES AGE 53 INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE 28 Dennis Ho was appointed the Chief Opera�ng Officer of Hyundai Sime Darby Motors Sdn Bhd in June 2007, and was tasked to build the Hyundai brand. He was later appointed the Managing Director of the same company in December 2007. Dennis was later promoted to Managing Director for Sime Darby Motors’ Malaysian opera�ons in February 2012, while also tasked to introduce the Kia brand to the Taiwan market. In November 2013, he was appointed to oversee the Malaysian, Thailand and Taiwanese markets for Sime Darby Motors. He was appointed to his present posi�on on 1 October 2019, and is responsible for providing leadership and direc�on to the high importance of our Assembly business and related projects. He is is responsible for China, Hong Kong, Macau & Taiwan opera�ons. Raymond started his career with Sime Darby Management Services Ltd in December 1989, as an Assistant Internal Audit Manager. He subsequently moved up the ranks, holding posi�ons such as General Parts Manager, A�ersales Manager, Area Manager within the Sime Darby companies in Hong Kong & China. DATUK AISHAH SHAIKH AHMAD HEAD OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS, SIME DARBY MOTORS AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, SIME DARBY AUTO IMPORTS SDN BHD AGE 67 INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE 30 Datuk Aishah Shaikh Ahmad joined Sime Darby in 1981 as a Fleet Sales Manager with Ford Malaysia Sdn Bhd. In January 2002, Datuk Aishah was promoted as Head of Corporate Affairs, for the Sime Darby Motors Group in Tractors Malaysia Sdn Bhd, and con�nued with her por�olio when Sime Darby Motors was restructured as a core division of the Sime Darby Auto Imports Sdn Bhd in January 2006. With more than 30 years of experience in the automo�ve industry, Datuk Aishah has served as the Chairman of the Automo�ve Federa�on Malaysia (AFM) since September 1998, and as the President of the Malaysia Automo�ve Associa�on (MAA) since January 2000. ZAHIDAH AKMAL GHAZALI HEAD OF HUMAN RESOURCES, SIME DARBY MOTORS AGE 50 INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE 25 Zahidah Akmal Ghazali was appointed the Head of Human Resources, Sime Darby Motors in October 2015. She has more than 20 years’ experience in the full spectrum of human resource and industrial rela�ons in strategic and opera�onal roles including 10 years of experience holding regional posi�ons. She has implemented structural re-organisa�on and change management in mul�na�onal companies. She is currently responsible for developing and implemen�ng human resource management strategies.
