College of Arts, Bhigwan, Maharashtra Indapur Taluka Shikshan Prasarak Mandal was founded in the year 1938 under the wise, intellectual and academic leadership of dedicated people. This Education Society is an Educational trust came into existence with noble and great objectives of serving the rural masses for their development. Honourable Harshawardhanji Patil, Former minister of Co- operation and parliamentary Affairs Maharashtra State is the chairman of this institution. College of Arts, Bhigwan is established in 1997 by the parent Institution Indapur Taluka Shikshan Prasarak Mandal. It is permanently affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. The College provide under graduate education in the faculty of Arts. Eighty percent teaching staff of our college is involved in research. College has organized National and State level Conferences, seminars and workshops. Our College is accredited by NAAC with B Grade. Bhigwan is one hundred k.m. away from Pune city. The goals and aims of establishment of College of Arts are to fulfil the urge of knowledge of the rural youths. This college provide education to the Project affected people. The college imparts degree education. This education helps the students to enter in the field of advanced higher education and postgraduate level courses. Moreover, independent and well equipped computer laboratories, specious playground, Library are additional features of our campus. We carry out all the academic activities listed in the syllabi very sincerely, whole heartedly and with a positive frame of mind. With the help of curricular, co-curricular, extra-curricular and extension activities we try our best to engage community as knowledge workers for bridging a gap between college and society. The college strive hard to fulfil its goal of providing quality education to the students enrolled from project affected area and lower economic strata. Rangapara College, Amaribari, Assam Established in the year 1979, Rangapara College was affiliated to Gauhati University in the year 1980. The college was brought under deficit grant-in-aid system from 01/01/1987. The college was included under Section 2 (f) & 12 (B) of UGC Act, 1955 from 20/03/1996. In the year 2004, the college was accredited „B+‟ by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) the college was re-accredited „B‟ grade in 2011. Beginning its humble origin from Rangapara Town Hall on 16th August, 1979, it was shifted to the present sprawling campus of 40.33 acres (122 Bighas) amidst lush green tea gardens in 1983. Since its inception, the expansion of the college has been phenomenal, The faculty strength has increased manifold; there by producing more and more students over the past few years. The Central College Library owns about 30,000 books with a significance number of periodicals and journals. In terms of infrastructure, it is one of the remarkable institutions in the region equipped with Digital Class Room, Seminar Room, Meeting Hall and Modern Library.
