GOLDEN HORN (GB) rated off the inside, moved up without much encouragement leaving the far turn, responded when put to task five sixteenths out, grabbed the lead soon into the stretch, shifted in towards the fence, met the winner's challenge in mid stretch then kept on valiantly while simply not quite good enough. BIG BLUE KITTEN , unhurried early, saved ground past the five eighths, angled out approaching the far turn and was put to pressure, looped seven wide into the lane, dropped in some leaving the three sixteenths and kept on nicely to close the gap. SLUMBER (GB) , taken to rate, moved up between rivals around the far turn, continued progressing three wide into the lane, shifted in giving hard chase past the eighth pole and continued with interest. THE PIZZA MAN rated outside foes, shifted out to about the five path exiting the three eighths pole, rallied five wide to loom a danger into the stretch then flattened out. DA BIG HOSS was lightly steadied in the opening furlong, drafted well off the pace, was sent up along the rail near the half mile marker, angled five wide but failed to muster up the needed kick. RED RIFLE bobbled at the break, angled out near the three eighths, made a solid six wide run to the inside of BIG BLUE KITTEN approaching the stretch but failed to kick on the last furlong. TWILIGHT ECLIPSE saved ground, lost position leaving the far turn, altered out wide and failed to menace. ORDAK DAN (ARG) , four wide early, was not a factor. BIG JOHN B broke a step slow and was outrun. SHINING COPPER quickly went clear, opened up a colossal lead past the wire the first time, continued well in front to the far turn, saw his lead dwindle five sixteenths out, ceded the advantage soon into the lane then faltered. CAGE FIGHTER raced in closest pursuit early, angled in and was put to pressure past the three eighths, failed to respond and gave way. Copyright 2015 Equibase Company LLC. All Rights Reserved..
