Billy Graham, REASON FOR MY HOPE: SALVATION (224 pgs) 10/15 With each chapter posing a question to the reader, Billy Graham shows us true stories as he asks us to consider how we would respond to similar circumstances. Graham also reveals how what the world thinks is not the same as what the Bible says. “Fans of Graham will welcome another chance to hear from him. Osteen encourages readers to tear their barriers down and pursue a bold life. He also suggests that readers pray big, saying that God can provide increase for those who are willing to ask for it. He details a 'break out' attitude and shows readers how following God's plan could help them break free of the poverty in which some think God wants them to live. Sarah Palin, GOOD TIDINGS AND GREAT JOY: PROTECTING THE HEART OF CHRISTMAS (256 pgs) 10/29 Christmas used to be all about Jesus, and Palin is ready to bring Christianity back to the holiday she says is far too homogenized and commercial. Palin also shares family photos and stories from her own family Christmas celebrations. Malcolm Gladwell, DAVID AND GOLIATH: UNDERDOGS, MISFITS, AND THE ART OF BATTLING GIANTS (320 pgs) 10/1 Cancer researchers, Ireland's battlefields, and civil rights leaders help Gladwell demonstrate the hidden truths behind the weak and the powerful.
