Khru DOC Celebrates 30 Years in the Muay Thai Family !! Date: 17 May 2021 – Revisions #0 on ????-????-???? Khru DOC celebrates 30 years in the Muay Thai Family !! Date: 17 May 2021 – Revisions #0 on ????-????-???? สวัสดีครับ Sawasdee krab … Hello from AoNang Krabi Thailand. This is Khru Doc, I started to train in Muay Thai in 1990, got certified as an U.W.M.T.A. junior instructor [under Khru VUT Kamnark] and worked up to being (1 of 4) Senior Instructors in the year 2000. ครูตาก (Khru Doc) FaceBook ADD Link = https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100050750513518 My wife Zina was the first lady instructor & professional Muay Thai Announcer and my son Dj was the youngest instructor in the U.W.M.T.A. in America. We owned CKC Gym/Camp in Concord CA USA from 1990 to 2004, I visited Thailand in 2004 & 2005 and in 2006 sold everything in the USA, left our careers/jobs, our kids/grandkids and moved to Thailand … krab !! We were sponsored by Fairtex Thailand. I got close to Fairtex through Nok Muay Alex Gong in San Francisco CA and he connected me with Mr. Wong Fairtex. We trained in Fairtex San Francisco, then in Bangkok and we were managers at the Fairtex Grand Resort & Gym in Pattaya and its Grand Opening in the year 2006 !! That is why I have a Fairtex tattoo on my leg … krab !! In the years 2007 and 2008 Khru VUT Kamnark became the Muay Thai manager at Fairtex Pattaya thru our Divine Destiny Muay Thai connections !! I am now celebrating 30 years in the Muay Thai Family, 15 in the USA and now 15 in Thailand; to say the least it has been AMAZING krab !! LOL. I want to share 30+ things I have learned in Muay Thai … Muay Thai Culture-History-Tradition = 30+ years !! >>> NOTE: Everything shared in this WordDOC-PDF is per Khru DOC’s experiences and perspectives. Khru DOC does not claim everything he says is absolute truth but only things he has experienced and learned through asking questions. In Buddhism, some say there are no absolute truths and only truths that you have been en-lighted by. Buddha taught many things that Khru DOC agrees with (even though He is a Christian Pastor) so as you read his experiences may YOU be en-lighted by his thoughts on Muay Thai Culture-History-Tradition !! 1- มวยไทย= muayM thaiM One WORD describes Muay Thai !! >>> I encourage everyone to get some basic knowledge of Thailand’s language so you can have fun saying and sharing some meaningful words. Muay = Fight and Thai = Thailand so a true translation is Thai Fight not Thai Boxing which some of the Muay Thai College Professors I met do not like Boxing or the world Boxing. One WORD that best describes Muay Thai is = “Thailand” … krab !! To ME, you must know Thailand’s Culture-History-Traditions to really really [Jing Jing krab] know Muay Thai. 2- สวัสดีครับ= saL watL deeM khrapH - khaaF You have to say this !! >>> The Thai Language has Five TONES like music notes !! Low, High, Medium, Falling and Rising so you must sing the sounds and not just say them or the Thai people will not understand you. For us English people, one word means one word but to the Thai people; one word can mean FIVE different things !! I have my students know how to say Muay Thai which is really easy because it is a flat Medium Tone. Saying Sawasdee khrab for guys and Sawasdee khaa for girls has Low-Low-Medium-High or Falling tones … krab !!!! Go to this WebSite to hear how to say this = http://www.thai-language.com/dict/ 3- Thailand is the biggest Buddhist Country next to China … Buddha fights !! >>> How does the most passive, humble, meek, serving and lady soft men in the world make a National Sport that has the most BODY Bruising, BONE Crushing and BLOODiest Sport in the world ?? It took me a long time, like 20 years to learn the answer to this question and most Muay Thai people in Thailand cannot answer this question … krab !! In old school Hindu and Buddhism they use extreme Fasting, PAIN and Bleeding to gain En-Lightenment !! The only thing I understand in this is “No Pain No Gain !!” and/or “Bad things are going to make you Better or Bitter.” To ME, the most amazing people in the world, are the people that have gone THROUGH the most painful and difficult problems and they have used them to make them the BEST they can be. In reference to fighting, the biggest example I know is PAC-Man, the Filipino World Boxing Champion from the Philippine Islands (note I am Filipino) !! He grew up as a street rat, really bad poverty and as a child going through this type of life; it can make you as tough as anyone on earth !! PAC-Man did many fights in Thailand and I actually got to train with his boxing coach at a Lumpinee Stadium Gym which is gone now that the New Lumpinee is built. I could write a Book on this but please allow me to say one last thing. Muay Thai an En-Lightenment training event, a RING is a place of fasting, pain and bleeding so that experience can make you better in your Spirit-SOUL … wow krab !! 4- Monks were the teachers of Thailand, Temples the Centers, Muay Thai !! Khru DOC teaches Old School = Spirit-Soul-BODY !! >>> Some say Muay Thai is the center and a rock training in the Nation of Thailand. I did not learn this until I moved to Thailand. The first thing the Monks taught the boys was Muay Thai, this training is a way to make a Boy into a Man. The Thailand Temples where the Centers of ALL the Thailand communities where kids go to school, where people learn and do business; and where things like cooking-farming-morals were all taught and experienced !! Most do not know that ALL Martial Arts like Japanese Karate’, Korean Tae Kwon Do and Chinese Kung Fu were all BODY/physically disciplines to teach Spirit-Soul life lessons so that Nations can be the BEST they can BE !! This is how I (Khru DOC) teach Muay Thai !! 5- What is the BEST Style of Muay Thai … the BEST Teacher ?? >>> Remember it starts at En-Lightenment !! Khru Kaet Sriapai clearly defines Thailand Muay Thai and most people do not understand this … he said he has studied Muay Thai with (13)+ teachers [note this] because it is totally different from Martial Arts and the focus on Masters !! ALL Martial Arts like Japanese Karate’, Korean Tae Kwon Do and Chinese Kung Fu [note I love and have studied these Martial Arts, I was a kickboxing fighter & Filipino Boxer] ALL focus on the Master; it is ALL about the Master of the Martial Art !! Muay Thai is not about the Masters, if anything it is about Thailand as a Nation, about Thailand’s KING and then ALL about the Fighter becoming the BEST they can BE in Royal Respect-SERVICE to the KING !! In Muay Thai it is about the Fighters, their Royal Respect QUEST to serve the KING of Thailand. IN order to do this; the Fighter must FIND teachers that match their natural skills, body types and personal abilities !! I personally have had many many trainers, I have learned sooo much Muay Thai; & in fact I have written a lot of it down because I forget IT !! The BEST trainer I have personally trained with was a Raja Stadium Champ at age 24. He went into WBC Boxing, had over 50 fights/wins and became a Boxing Champ. At age 30, he did some special super fights in Muay Thai and found out he could KO the younger fighters with his Boxing counters. Then at age 32, he got to fight for his Raja Stadium Championship again; won by KO !! He was the BEST trainer for me because of his Boxing Skills !! In fact, after training with him, I did a fight and won by a Counter HOOK when my opponent tried to kick me !! What is the BEST Style of Muay Thai … the BEST Teacher ?? The BEST Muay Thai, the BEST Teacher and the BEST Gym/Camp … is the ONE … get ready for this IT is the ONE you LIKE and fits your personality, skills and abilities !! 6- (5) Techs = Fists, Elbows, Knees, Kicks, Clinches/Wrestling. >>> FIVE areas of Muay Thai, Fists-Punches (big knuckle bone strikes), Elbows-Knives (#1 cause of Blood in the fights, hardest human bones are the head and 2nd hardest human bone is the elbow tip bone and when they come together the SKIN splits), Knees-Clubs (generates the hardest combat strike of all; like a small car hitting you), KICKS (Full Body PUSHES and Baseball Home RUN swing strikes), Clinches/Wrestling (Stand up BJJ of Muay Thai, Grabs- Trips-Throws & sets up for other strikes) which the COMBOS of these FIVE areas are endless !! 7- (4) Modes = Light 1to1, Air, Bags/Tires, ThaiPads, Sparring 1to1. #1- Light 1 on 1 with a partner to see weapon use and target to hit, shadow sparring with a partner so this mode can produce full on sparring/fighting = old school training. #2- AIR, doing the techniques against the AIR. Note, you must first know the techniques and be able to visualize them on an opponent so you can do them against the AIR. #3- Doing techs against the Thai BAGS and/or a Thai Tire BOX bag. Note, the harder the bag or tire allows you to truly develop and know your striking weapon.

  • An Outline of the Structure of the Akha Language1 (Part 1)
Tonan Ajia Kenkyu (The Southeast Asian Studies) Vol. 8, No.1 June, 1970 1 An Outline of the Structure of the Akha Language ) (Part 1) --Introduction and Phonemics-- by Makio KATSURA* Introduction: Akhas and their Language The Akhas call themselves"Akha" (/'laka/), while other ethnic groups call them by different names. Generally the Shans both in Burma and in Thailand use the name "Kaw" (/k;);)/), and the Northern Thais, "E-kaw" (/'liik;);)/). The prefix /'lii-/ in l1iik;)JI might be the same as Ilii-I, which is often prefixed to nouns and denotes "female," such as /'liinii/, /'liinan/, /'liimtew/, etc. This is perhaps because of the eye-striking appearance of the Akha women. "Kha Kaw" C/khaa kJ;)/) is mostly used by the Laotians or the inhabitants of Laos, but the /khaa-/ is very often prefixed to the names of the minority peoples regardless of their geneological relations. The Thai Lus often call the Akhas "Kaw Ho Laem" Uk;);) hoo Ih:m/), which means "Akhas with pointed head," due to the shape of the head-dress of the Akha women. The name "O-ni" or "Wo-ni" used by the Chinese includes not only the Akhas but also many peoples belonging to the Burmese-Loloish Group.2l These names used by other peoples * {i TIIiU;ffi-~~ 1) This is a part of the report of the author's field work on the Akha language conducted in Northern Thailand in 1964-1965 under the sponsorship of the National Research Council of Thai land and the Center for Southeast Asian Studies of Kyoto University.

  • In the Tradition of the Classic Samurai Movie
In the tradition of the classic Samurai movie “Lone Wolf and Little Cub” Mystic Blade follows a Father and Son on their quest for vengeance against the ruthless band of Assassin’s known as the Shadow Syndicate. This movie has all the full impact action you would expect from Ong Bak alumni Don Ferguson (Ong Bak , Chaiya , Tom Yum Goong) David Ismalone (Ong Bak, Fast and Furiuos 7,Skin Trade) and Tim Mann (Ong Bak 2, Ninja 2 Shadow of a tear) and a lot more including; beautiful location’s Filmed on 35 mm Film and an outstanding epic music Composition. Don Ferguson plays the anti-hero Sam with the right combination of toughness as well as brings real sensitivity to the role playing the dad of his real life son Shiro (Ronny Ferguson). And of coarse when you have David Ismalone in the director’s chair who has just recently coordinated action scenes in Hollywood movies such as “The Fast and Furious 7” and Tony Jaa’s “Skin Trade” you can expect some great action. MYSTIC BLADE - SYNOPSIS Sam is a killer by trade, one of a group of merciless men known as the Shadow Syndicate whose business is delivering fate for a price. But when Sam is asked to erase the line between honor and evil, he turns his back on the Shadows knowing this will make him a wanted man. Sam and his family live a simple and happy life fishing and living off the land.

  • 20 Movies 20 Years Ebook.Cdr
20 MUST SEE MARTIAL ARTS MOVIES FROM THE LAST 20 YEARS THANK YOU FOR SUBSCRIBING AND DOWNLOADING THIS FREE E-BOOK! EVERY SINGLE PERSON INVOLVED MAKES THE MARTIAL ARTS ACTION MOVIE WEBSITE POSSIBLE... ...AND LOTS OF FUN! BEFORE WE GET STUCK INTO IT. In the last 4 years, I have watched and reviewed close to 500 Martial Arts films. I’ve got to say it’s a bit of an addiction but a fun one, and it’s been shared with a lot of people through Social Media channels like Facebook and Twitter, and I’ve noticed a strong pattern in the movies people love to see these days. On top of that, we’re seeing movies being released that seem to be climbing the ladder in terms of quality. For a while, martial arts movies were heading in a different direction and focusing less on the pure abilities of the actor and relying heavily on wire work. While there’s nothing wrong with that, I can safely say that most people I’ve networked with over the last few years don’t enjoy the weightless “floating” look that most of these movies produced. So most of what I write about these days focuses on the power of the individual martial artist, relying on themselves more than wires. Combined with the totality of the film making process, I’ve done my best to find the absolute most entertaining, action packed and well balanced martial arts films of recent times. So I produced this little Ebook for anyone whose looking to become immersed in the most action packed, adrenaline charged fight films from the last 20 years.
