Connect, Evolve, Transform AAPA’s Annual Conference CME program is designed for PAs by PAs and is approved for CME credit by AAPA. You will be able to comfortably earn 35-40 hours of Category I CME credit over the course of the five-and-a-half-day conference. CME credit is awarded on an hour-for-hour basis and the total number of credit hours you earn is your choice, based on the hours you spend in CME sessions. Each member of the Conference Education Program Committee (CEPC), which is made up of 11 of your clinician and educator peers, connects with experts and reviews the medical literature and CME agendas from other primary care and specialty con- ferences in order to identify the most up-to-date information intended to transform the care of patients. Constituent organiza- tions were encouraged to submit topics they believed to be of value to their members as well as the general PA population. The IMPACT 2010 Call for Presentations was posted on the Confer- ence Web site beginning in February 2009 and many PAs, as well as non-PAs, submitted topics for consideration by the CEPC. The CEPC continues to work on creating a CME agenda that will address the varied educational needs of the profession covering more than 50 therapeutic categories, most specialties and many levels of experience. Continuing Medical Education Medical Continuing New in 2010 are daily general sessions.
