Verizon Wireless is excited to announce a new software update for the BlackBerry Classic. Update your BlackBerry Classic to BlackBerry 10.3.2 to enable enhancements that will fuel productivity and give you peace of mind.

Anti-Theft Your privacy and security will be fortified even further with Anti-Theft protection. A new feature incorporated into BlackBerry Protect.

• If your BlackBerry device running 10.3.2 OS is stolen, you are able to log in to BlackBerry Protect with your BlackBerry ID and lock or wipe your device.

• Once a device has been locked, the user that enabled BlackBerry Protect will need to authenticate with their BlackBerry ID in order to complete the out-of-the-box experience.

• Additionally, once BlackBerry Protect is enabled, you will be required to enter your BlackBerry ID information to perform a security wipe. BlackBerry Classic

BlackBerry Blend 1.2 BlackBerry Blend seamlessly brings messaging and content that’s on your BlackBerry to your computer or tablet. • BlackBerry Blend dashboard, application navigation and user interface have been redesigned. • Instant Replies from BlackBerry Blend Notifications. • Centralized File Transfer Manager for File uploads and downloads. • Spell check within BlackBerry Blend. • Portrait mode in tablets. • Tablet performance improvements.

BlackBerry Camera BlackBerry 10.3.2 OS will provide your camera with advancements in image capturing. • Face Detection -Face detection is enabled by default, but you can elect to turn this off. - Camera exposure and recommendation will be set based on face detection, which now has improved performance and accuracy. • Improved Low Light Performance - The camera has been tuned to work better in low light conditions. • Focus - Improved focus speed and accuracy.

BlackBerry Calendar • Meeting Mode Improvements - Meeting Mode will automatically set your BlackBerry device to quiet mode for the duration of your meeting. - With 10.3.2, you can choose the types of events and durations of events that are affected by Meeting Mode, as well as adding any calendars to the ignore list. • Growing Numbers - A setting that will shrink/grow numbers within Month view, based on how busy you are during work hours. • Time Zone Preview - In the event create screen, you can now add time zone previews. While creating or editing an event the user can see what time it will occur in other time zones.

BlackBerry Assistant – Timer • BlackBerry Assistant will now allow the user to set and interact with the timer on the phone. - Set a timer. - Display the current timer. - Pause and resume the timer. - Stop the timer.

BlackBerry Browser • Private Browsing Mode Enhancements - You can easily access private browsing from the tabs menu on the left side of the screen. - Personal tabs will keep running while the private browser is enabled and launched. • Reader Mode Voice Support - Allows you to have the content read out while in reader mode.

Home Screen • Peek to see the Date - On a peek and hold gesture, the second line of the status bar will now also expand to show users the date information . • Hints for teaching Home Gestures - Hint pop-ups will be shown inline within the application to help teach gestures. - This will include small animated arrows to help demonstrate the gesture. - You will be shown these hints only a few times in order to avoid being intrusive. Completing gestures correctly will keep the hints from appearing.

BlackBerry Hub • Attachment view – Open Associated Email - When viewing attachments in the attachment view in Hub, you can now use the cross-cut menu to open the email from which the attachment originated. • Calendar Peek - Modified so that hidden calendars from the calendar app are no longer visible in the hub. • Contact Management – Recent Management - In Recent Contacts, you are now able to bulk clear the recent contacts that have been saved to your device. You will now see your own email account in recent contacts, as well. • Accounts - When adding accounts from global settings, you will now have the option to launch directly to the Hub to see newly created accounts. • Hub Refresh - Hub refresh will now check to ensure an active network connection exist instead of failing gracefully. You will be presented with a warning and a link to turn on cellular radio.

BlackBerry 10.3.2 Enterprise Features: • S/MIME Support for ActiveSync - You may set this up by importing your S/MIME Certificate into the certificate store and managing secure email settings in BlackBerry Hub. - New page Under Settings > Security & Privacy for you to manage their LDAP settings, and OCSP will be managed via certificate extensions. • BlackBerry World for Work - Bulk Application Purchasing - Enterprises will be able to purchase BlackBerry World application through BlackBerry Worlds Volume Purchase Program (VPP) - Applications that are purchased through the BlackBerry World VPP program are made available for management through BlackBerry Enterprise Service and to the employees through BlackBerry World for Work. - Ownership of the purchased app licenses remains with the enterprise.
