Après le succès de WRC 8, WRC 9 réserve de nombreuses améliorations et nouveautés à tous les amateurs de jeux de rallye. A este modelo se le conoce como SaaS (siglas en ingles de Sofware as a Service que significa Software como un Servicio), muchas empresas optan por esta forma de ofrecer software y el mundo del gaming no se queda atr´as.De esta manera surge el GaaS (Gaming as a Servi- ce o Games as a Service que significa Juegos como Servicio), t´erminoque engloba tanto suscripciones o pases para adquirir acceso a librer´ıasde jue- gos, micro-transacciones, juegos en la nube (Cloud Gaming). Hard compound is first choice on the rough stages, with soft also available Milan, September 6, 2021 – Another of the FIA World Rally Championship’s most legendary events makes its return as part of Pirelli’s comeback season in the top category, with the Acropolis Rally in Greece hosting round nine this weekend. After an absence of 18 years, the ‘Rally of the Gods’ is back with many of the classic stages that established the event’s reputation as a car-breaker that is extremely tough on the tyres as well. The Pirelli tyres in Greece Scorpion KX: Pirelli’s gravel rally tyre comes in hard and soft compounds. In Greece, the hard will be the first choice for the abrasive stages and high temperatures. The soft will also be available as an alternative, providing grip for or damp surfaces, especially for those running first on the road. As a result, it can form an important part of the strategy. In both compounds, the tyre features additional reinforcement, particularly in the sidewall, to guard against cuts and lacerations: a common feature of the Acropolis. Scorpion K: Pirelli’s gravel tyres for WRC 2 and WRC 3 also come in hard and soft compounds, and feature many of the characteristics of the KX fitted to the top cars. These tyres are adapted to suit the characteristics of the lower categories, which have a little less power. -

Lo scopo dello stage è stato apprendere le metodologie di sviluppo software nell’ambito gaming. Particolare attenzione è stata posta sui processi, gli strumenti ed il way of working dell’azienda ospitante. Tra gli strumenti più rilevanti per un programmatore all’interno dell’azienda ci sono senz’altro il motore di gioco Unreal Engine 4, che oltre a fare da ossatura ai vari giochi permette anche lo sviluppo multi-platform, il sistema di versionamento Helix ed il sistema di project management JIRA. 0.1 Organizzazione del testo Il primo capitolo descrive brevemente l’industria dei videogiochi, dalla sua nascita ai giorni d’oggi, e l’azienda che mi sta ospitando come stagista. Il secondo capitolo tratta il workflow di una software house di videogames, con riferimento all’azienda ospitante. Il terzo capitolo introduce il game engine utilizzato da Milestone, Unreal Engine 4, da un punto di vista della programmazione C++. -

Dear Rally Friends, We are getting closer to the start of the 70th edition of Rally Finland and the preparations are well underway to welcome you, this time, with great autumn vibes. We can’t think about this rally without thinking about its history as the first edition took place 70 years ago, in autumn as well, with a 1700-kilometre route stretching from Jyväskylä to Rovaniemi and back. This season, these two amazing cities are both hosting rounds of the World Rally Championship. You could see it as a coincidence, we see it as a beautiful opportunity to link everything together for this anniversary edition. We are delighted to welcome Secto Automotive on board for this milestone edition of Rally Finland as title sponsor, which brings a mixture of tradition and originality. Given the importance of the occasion, we will have the honor of watching some of our legendary Flying Finns driving their winning cars on the Harju stage before we follow the World Rally Championship drivers as they contest this challenging edition over a 300-kilometre route. It’s been significantly altered since the last Rally Finland in 2019 and includes several well-known stages. A few night stages will spice the things up while the city of Jyväskylä will host a stunning light show. To make this edition even more exceptional, we are very happy to welcome fans to the stages, while respecting scrupulously the COVID-19 guidelines, in order to create the incredible atmosphere that makes this event so special. -
