Harkins Theater remodel will bring dreams to life

In preparation for construction on the $43 million Uintah County Public Safety Complex, Layton Construction arranged visits to numerous other similar facilities, giving Uintah County officials a first-hand experience to what they could build.

In March 2010, the county sponsored an open-house event that allowed 204 people to spend a night in the jail before inmates arrived. Amazingly, interest was so high that the county had to turn people away.
