5 Care Plus making every day amazing

All of us at Care Plus share a single aim: helping you get the most out of life.

As a resident of one of our retirement living with support apartments, you have much more than a key to a door. You will benefit from the reassurance of living in a safe and secure environment and we are there to keep your communal areas safe, help you to report repairs and make sure you receive expert advice on budgeting and financial planning. We can also help residents to arrange trips, activities and social events making it even easier for you to make friends and learn new skills.

For many of our residents, that’s enough.

Some people, though, want a little more help. We can help you access a range of support services to enable you to carry on living independently. That could include looking at adaptations for your home or arranging a personalised package of care and support provided in your own home by our Domiciliary Care team.

6 7 8 All included

Our retirement living communities offer a range of shared facilities including laundry and communal lounges and attractive gardens. Most also offer guest rooms which friends and family can use when they visit.

The service charge pays for the facilities you share with your neighbours. It also covers our 24-hour emergency call service, repairs and maintenance services, window cleaning, gardening and the upkeep of communal areas.

Some of my friends really worry in the winter. They won’t turn on the heating because they are frightened of big bills and their homes can be very cold. Here, my heating is all included and I’m cosy all winter.

The shared facilities and services are an important part of our promise to take away everyday worries, leaving you free to get the most out of life.

9 The perfect space for you

I love my little apartment. My son-in-law painted it before I moved in and with lots of family photographs, it really feels like home. It is the perfect size for me to look after and when I go to visit relatives in Ireland, I don’t have to worry about it. I’ve made so many friends since I moved here. My daughter has lived in the area for 29 years and she says I know more people than she does! There is a really good community atmosphere here. On a Monday afternoon we tend to get together and I’ll make a big pot of soup. I feel so safe here. I can honestly say that I feel happy every day.
