Bluebonnet Trails offers an array of mental health and developmental disabilities services to children, adolescents and adults in Bastrop, Burnet, Caldwell, Fayette, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Lee and Williamson Counties. Services to infants (ages 0-3) with developmental delays or a medical condition that might cause developmental delays are provided in Bastrop, Burnet, Caldwell, Fayette, Lee and Williamson Counties through Bluebonnet Trails’ early childhood intervention program, known as PRIDE (Parent Resources for Infant Developmental Enrichment). Under our Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) program, the goal is to help individuals with disabilities obtain and maintain work that is up to par with their abilities and interests. We work with the individual to identify disability-related barriers to employment and then provide services to help reduce and eliminate those barriers. One part of our VR program is Transition, in which we provide services to students who are transitioning out of high school and will need services to plan for, obtain and maintain employment.

Insurance plans in the Marketplace are offered by private companies. They cover the same core set of benefits called essential health benefits. Community Care, Inc. (CCI) provides long-term residential services to individuals 18 years and older with intellectual disabilities and/or related conditions. We were established in 1986 and currently operate nine Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities or Related conditions (ICF-IID), in Burnett and Williamson Counties. Our ICP-IID Programs offer supervised living arrangements which are designed to promote independent living. CCI provides active treatment based on functional assessments which target individualized training goals. The opportunity for socialization allows our residents to participate in a variety of activities with their peers, bringing about opportunities to engage in various activities and developing long term friendships. CCI strives to provide all interested residents the opportunity to obtain volunteer or competitive employment in their local community.
