1. PLANNING INFORMATION
A. SB Effectivity
This Service Bulletin is applicable to Goodrich Brake Assemb,lies, P/N 2-1675-1, with Serial Numbers listed in Table 1.
B. Concurrent Req uirements
Not Applicable.
C. Reason
Some wear indicator pins for Brake Assembly, PIN 2-1675-1, used on Cessna Citation Model 680 or 680A aircraft may not accurately show brake wear.
D. Description
This Service Bulletin gives instructions to measure the wear indicator pins to find if they were set correctly (refer to Figure 1 ).
This Service Bulletin also gives instructions for removal of in-service brake assemblies and spare brake assemblies with incorrect wear indicator pins.
E. Compliance Recommendation
This Service Bulletin must be accomplished in 90 days, 200 landings or less to make sure a brake assembly is removed from service for a shop visit when either of the two wear indicator pins is more than 2.07 inches (52 ,58 mm) in length. Refer to Figure 1.

A. Measure the wear indicator pins for brake serial numbers listed in Table 1, as follows:
NOTE: Brake assemblies with serial numbers listed in Table 1 are subject to this Service Bulletin. For brake assemblies that have serial numbers with an "A" at the end, it is not necessary to follow the instructions in this Service Bulletin.
NOTE: At the next shop visit, affected brake serial numbers per Table 1 will have an "A" stamped after the serial number to indicate the brake has been overhauled and the wear indicator pins have been set correctly.
(1) Measure the full length of each wear indicator pin (refer to Figure 1 ).
(2) If one of the two wear indicator pins is 2.07 inches (52,58 mm) or more, remove the brake assembly from service and contact Textron Aviation for an exchange of the brake assembly.
(3) If the two wear indicator pins are 2.07 inches (52 ,58 mm) or less, paint the end of the two wear indicator pins yellow (refer to Figure 1).
(4) Complete the attached form for all brake serial numbers inspected. Return the I form to [email protected]
