SUPER BLUE BLOOD MOON ECLIPSE

COURTESY CCFD As flames closed in, an awful reality

JOHN CLARE STOKES/Special to the Reporter dawned An image like the one pictured above hadn’t been seen here (or anywhere) since 1866, as the Earth eclipsed the second full moon of January — a supermoon, at that — on Wednesday morning. John Clare Stokes caught this image at 7:16 a.m. as the moon began to set over farmland on Price Creek Road. ‘The two most important women in my life are about to die, and I’m helpless.’

But Lindsay Graham’s fevered fantasies notwithstand- ing, most of the illegals aren’t likely to be Republicans, and the relentless Democratic scorn for border security is on full display, rejecting President Trump’s generous and expanded offer of honorable compromise to protect the “Dreamers.” The proposal offers the Democrats much more than they have been asking for, not just the legalization of 700,000 young people brought here by their illegal-immi- grant parents, but a path to citizenship and voting rights, and more than doubling to 1.8 million the number of oth- ers who could benefit from salvaging the Obama exec- utive order extending amnesty to the Dreamers, which the ex-president conceded was unconstitutional.
