Conducted by Richard Kaufman in his Philharmonic debut and featuring Musica Sacra, directed by Kent Tritle, Amadeus: Live will take place Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at 7:30 p.m.; Thursday, April 12 at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, April 13 at 11:00 a.m.; Saturday, April l4 at 7:30 p.m.; and Tuesday, April 17 at 7:30 p.m. On April 11 actor Alec Baldwin — Philharmonic Board Member and Artistic Advisor of The Art of the Score — and special guest Tom Hulce — who earned an Academy Award nomination for his portrayal of Mozart — will introduce the film, replacing F. Murray Abraham, who had to withdraw due to a scheduling conflict with his Off-Broadway play, Good for Otto. TV LAND ORDERS FIFTH SEASON OF HIT SITCOM “HOT IN CLEVELAND” STARRING VALERIE BERTINELLI, JANE LEEVES, WENDIE MALICK AND BETTY WHITE Pick-Up Brings Series Past 100 Episode Mark New York, NY – March 20, 2013 – TV Land has renewed “Hot in Cleveland” for a fifth season, it was announced today by Larry W. Jones, President, TV Land. The 24-episode order brings the series to a total of 104 episodes. This past January, CBS Television Distribution announced that it has sold “Hot in Cleveland” to TV stations in 92% of the United States for a September 2014 launch. The series stars Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and Betty White. “This is an incredible milestone for the show and for TV Land,” said Jones. “To have our first scripted sitcom make it to the syndication level is a huge accomplishment. We have a brilliant creative team both in front of and behind the camera. We are so proud to be on this exciting ride with them.” Series to date, “Hot in Cleveland” has averaged 2.8 million total viewers (Nielsen: Live+7, 68 premiere telecasts, 6/16/10-2/13/13). New episodes return on Wednesday, June 19th at 10pm ET with a LIVE telecast of the premiere episode. The fifth season will start shooting this Fall. In addition to garnering unprecedented ratings for TV Land, “Hot in Cleveland” has been honored with numerous awards and accolades. (July 27, 2008)—The KidsEye™ International Film Festival will once again showcase the best works of young filmmakers from around the world August 4-10th. This year, the Bell Street Chapel, 5 Bell Street in Providence will serve as the central host for the program. Other screening locations include the Providence Place Cinemas 16, the Providence Performing Arts Center, the Columbus Theatre Arts Center, and the “Empire Theatre” at the Providence Public Library. The KidsEye™ International Film Festival is a sidebar of the annual Rhode Island International Film Festival (RIIFF) and serves as an opportunity to all young filmmakers to present their latest work which includes documentaries, features, music videos, dramas, animation, oral histories, video poetry, experimental, & even PSA’s KidsEye™ at RIIFF is a two-part program. The first part takes place in July with the annual KidsEye Filmmaking Summer Camp. The KidsEye™ program is directed by Alyssa Holland Short and Keith Brown. The summer camp is based at the University of Rhode Island’s Kingston Campus, with support from the College Arts & Sciences and the Film Media Program. This year, 35 campers from across the country put their filmmaking skills to use.
