Colorado is ranked No. 8 nationally, Oregon is No. 11, and UCLA is No. 12, with Best Women’s Conference Finish: 1st (1989, 2008, 2009) Washington State also in the top-30 at No. 29. Best Women’s Regional Finish: 1st (1989, 1992, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011) The Huskies showed strong depth in their Pre-National run. Sophomore Tibebu Proctor, senior Tanner Anderson, and sophomore Talon Hull all finished in the top-15, with seniors Fred Hux- Best Women’s NCAA Finish: 1st (2008) ham and Mahmoud Moussa also in the top-50 and juniors Mick Stanovsek and Julius Diehr in the top-80. Also, junior Andrew Snyder won the open race with a time similar to Moussa’s, and Men’s NCAA Championship Appearances: sophomore Gavin Parpart was third in the open race. 14 — 1987 (22nd), 1988 (18th), 1989 (4th), 1990 (12th), 1991 (20th), 1993 (8th), 2003 (21st), Last season at Pac-12s, Moussa had a breakthrough run to finish fifth and lead the Dawgs. 2005 (27th), 2006 (12th), 2008 (18th), 2009 (18th), Anderson was 22nd last year competing for the Ducks, while Hull was 29th as a freshman but 2014 (20th), 2015 (8th), 2017 (22nd) has shown stronger form this year. Proctor could also make a big leap as he was 58th last year Women’s NCAA Championship Appearances: as a freshman but is coming off the best race of his young career at Pre-Nationals.
