Overall Description: The Partnerships Program Coordinator will provide programmatic and administrative support across the Grassroot Soccer (GRS) Partnerships portfolio to ensure GRS and its partners are able to design, deliver and sustain high-quality programming, execute on grant awards, and steward strategic partnerships.

Grassroot Soccer (GRS) is a rapidly growing adolescent health organization that leverages the power of soccer to educate, inspire, and mobilize at-risk youth in developing countries to overcome their greatest health challenges, live healthier, more productive lives, and be agents for change in their communities. Since 2002, GRS programs have reached 13 million young people in over 60 countries with life-saving HIV prevention and sexual and reproductive health information and services. Grassroot Soccer is looking to continue scaling its impact via partnerships over the next five years.

Position Summary: The Partnerships Program Coordinator is a detail-oriented and dynamic team member who can leverage previous experience delivering and/or supporting adolescent health programming to strengthen GRS programs and partnerships. The Partnerships Program Coordinator will support a dynamic portfolio spanning multiple countries and concurrent projects while also coordinating and maintaining key platforms within the team.

Responsibilities:

External Project Coordination and Support: (60%) • Working closely with Program Managers, develop tools and guidance to assist both GRS staff and partners in designing, delivering, and sustaining SKILLZ programming • Conduct in-person and/or remote check-ins to enable Coaches, Master Coaches and partner staff to deliver high quality SKILLZ programming • Schedule routine program calls, take notes, and conduct follow-up on action items • Provide support to partners across the program cycle with a focus on program implementation and optimization • Identify partner/program needs proactively, strategize solutions with Program Manager • Coordinate logistics, travel, and workplans for technical assistance visits to partners • Support development of curriculum and M&E tools (formatting, proofreading, pilot testing, research) • Support team members with briefs, presentations, and documentation • Track and document learnings, successes, challenges, and best practices

Training (25%) • In coordination with Program Manager, plan, execute, and report on training workshops and/or other technical assistance as needed • Participate in GRS Training Committee and/or other training-related calls

Internal Coordination and Culture (15%) • Update internal storage platforms (LGL, Salesforce, and G-drive) • Support coordination of internal and external meetings and presentations • Upload photos and videos received • Support coordination of programs external communication needs

Qualifications: • A minimum of 2-3 years’ professional experience coordinating and/or managing adolescent health programs • Extensive experience in Microsoft Office and Google Suite • Organizational skills and attention to detail • Exceptional ability to write professionally in English • Ability to travel (internationally and/or domestically) 25% • Strong interpersonal, cross-cultural, and diplomatic skills • Fluency in English (both oral and written)

Ideal candidate should have exceptional skills in one or more of the following: • Fluency in Chichewa and/or Portuguese • Experience as a SKILLZ Master Coach • Experience as a SKILLZ implementing partner
