Fellow status is typically awarded for one’s scientific contributions. However, it may also be awarded for exceptional contributions to the field through the development of research opportunities and settings. Candidates will be considered after 10 years of postdoctoral contribution. Nomination Requirements Nominators must be APS Members and must supply the following documents to the APS Fellows Committee: • A letter of nomination specifying why the candidate is judged to have made sustained outstanding contributions. • The candidate’s current Curriculum Vitae. • Additional letters of support from two outstanding contributors to the field of scientific psychology familiar with the nominee’s work, one of whom must be an APS Fellow.
