Jesus Mass : Summary for Server S stands, waits for P to recite Offertory, then Before Mass takes Missal and places it L of centre for P

Prepare Altar (all on RH side) S goes to Piscina, Credence cloth when P has prepared vessels Missal, cruets, pyx assists P to wash hands chalice with corporal as veil, S then goes to stand on R of P, below step paten, burse (with two corporals) At Sursum Corda, S kneels and holds chasuble On LH side at back, Pax board for P to sing ‘Dominus vobiscum’ Light altar candles then stands for preface

Prepare Piscina After Sanctus, S kneels Bowl (on credence table), cruet, towel At ‘Hoc est corpus meum’ S holds chasuble for elevation of host; Mass At elevation of chalice, S again holds chasuble When introit starts S leads P to Trinity Chapel altar At end of Canon and beginning of Pater Noster bow to altar S to RH end of altar for preparation of elements At Pax domini, S holds chasuble when P turns

P takes burse, and spreads corporal S kisses Pax Board, S takes responding ‘et cum spiritu tuo’ - pyx, and removes lid for P to take host then takes Pax Board to clergy & people in order - cruets and hands to P to mix chalice S brings Pax Board S then goes to piscina to wash P’s hands and sets it down on LH back of altar

S takes Missal and stands on R of P, holding it As soon as P has received communion Confession S moves Missal to R side of centre, so P can read texts for Ablutions P approaches altar, and S places Missal centre R S goes to RH end of altar to assist, taking cruets then S stands below step to R of - wine into chalice when P ready, Smoves Missal to RH end - wine over P’s fingers into chalice then return below step and stands behind P - water into chalice P recites Introit and Kyrie S goes to piscina for P to wash hands then S moves Missal to far RH side of altar When P turns for ‘Dominus vobiscum’, kneel and hold chasuble Thereafter S kneels at altar step until end of Mass S then stands for Collect, but bows At postcommunion, S holds chasuble for ‘Dominus vobiscum’ After Collect, S remains standing and again after the prayer, for the dismissal while P recites Epistle at altar After Epistle P sits and S take Missal to P During last Gospel, S bows to kiss floor when P sings ‘ Et verbum S holds Missal caro’ while P recites Gradual, Alleluya and Sequence At end of Gospel, S stands, goes behind P, bows to altar At Sequence singing P stands and and then S leads P to vestry S takes Missal to LH end of altar. After Gospel announcement, S holds Missal for P At end of Gospel, S holds Missal up for P to kiss While P says post-Mass prayers, S then takes Missal to RH end for Offertory S brings back vessels etc S kneels & holds chasuble for P at ‘Dominus from altar and piscina vobiscum’
