Our View For some time now, municipal meetings in Levy County have been, shall we say, less than efficient. In fact, they have been tedious. The reason for this is simple. A couple of people identifying themselves as journalists have been allowed to interrupt the flow of the meeting at their pleasure. Multiple sources have stated that such behavior is commonplace. First and foremost, this kind of behavior is less than professional for anyone calling themselves a journalist. Journalists are there to cover the news, not participate in it. You will not find anyone from this newspaper conducting themselves in such a manner and if you do, please notify the editor. This is not to imply the questions are not import- ant to the one asking. The point being made here is that they are being asked at an inappropriate time. Municipal meetings are not press conferences. These meetings are an official function of the local government and should be conducted as such. Most follow Roberts Rules of Order or one of the other publications outlining proper procedure and practice, however it appears many of our municipal meetings have slipped away from “enforcing” those rules. Bronson Blowout Eagles dominate Saints 50-8 in home field win

By Mark Berryman Editor The Bronson Eagles (2-2) demolished the St. John's Luther- an Saints (0-2) this past Friday night, winning 50-8 and claim- ing their first home victory in 1,068 days. Both teams scored early in the first quarter, but the Eagle defense would shut the Saints down the rest of the way. Bronson would score three more times in the first quarter to make the score 22-8, then tack on two more touchdowns in the second quarter to head into the locker room up 36-8. The Eagles would only score 14 points in the second half, partially due to a running clock. According to Head Coach Seth Stebbins, video technical difficulties prevented the staff from retrieving accurate stats for the game. The next opponent for the Eagles will be Seven Rivers Christian School in Lecanto. The Warriors are 0-3 on the sea- son, losing to Legacy Charter School 4-28, Keswick Christian 38-12 and First Academy 28-14. The school is located at 4221 W.
