Monday 21 3:06 AM Alarm / Attempted Burglary Officer responded to Brown’s Tackle & Gun (15100 Blk. of Adams St.) for a report of an alarm. Upon arrival, officer noted that the front door had been busted open. Building was cleared and it appeared that the suspect never made it inside the store.

11:45 AM Sgt. Hanson – Talk to Officer Officer responded to 15900 Blk. of Lake Shore Dr. for a talk to an officer in reference to an incident that occurred between the complainant and another resident.

2:25 PM Lt. Dear – Assisted the Public Officer assisted the public at the Police Station with fingerprints for employment.

Tuesday 11:56 AM Sgt. Hanson – Burglary of Building Officer responded to Exxon Mini Storage (15000 Blk. of Main St.) for a report of a burglary of a storage. Office equipment and several tattoo machines and ink were stolen. Total value for all items $4,000. Complainant stated he left the unit unlocked.

4:40 PM Capt. Reyes / Chief Priest – Assist Agency Officers responded to Lytle High School (18900 Blk. of FM 2790 N) to assist Medina Co. Deputy with an unruly crowd at the basketball game.

10:05 PM Capt. Reyes – Talk to Officer Officer responded to 19300 Blk. of N. Prairie St. to talk to an officer in reference to extra patrol request, complainant reported a suspicious vehicle in the area.

Wednesday 9:09 AM Sgt. Hanson – Hospice Death Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Lytle-Somerset St. for a report of a hospice death, Louisa Brock (86).

10:05 AM Lt. Dear – Reckless Driver / Arrest Officer responded to Main St. at Priest Blvd. for a report of a reckless driver. Officer located vehicle and observed driver on wrong side of road. Officer stopped and arrested Macario Guerrero (28) for Driving While Licenses Invalid and No Insurance.

6:08 PM Capt. Reyes – Hit & Run Officer responded to 19200 Blk. of FM 2790 W for a report of a hit & run that had occurred at HEB C-store.

Thursday 3:24 AM Ofc. D. Lopez – Seizure Traffic stop resulted in the seizure of narcotics paraphernalia, no charges were filed.

9:19 AM Lt. Dear – Assist Agency Officer responded 17700 Blk. of IH 35 to assist Atascosa Co. Deputy with locating a driver that had fled the scene after a crash. Officer was able to identify who the driver.

10:20 AM Lt. Dear – Minor Accident Officer responded to HEB Plus (19300 Blk. of McDonald St.) for a Honda Accord that was struck while parked. Complainant did not want to file an accident report only notify the police.

2:15 PM Lt. Dear / Chief Priest – Walk-Thru Request Officers responded to Beall’s (19500 Blk. of IH 35 S) for a walk-thru request due to suspicious persons inside the store.

9:14 PM Chief Priest / Sgt. Hanson / Ofc. D. Lopez – Warrant Arrest Traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Ray Puente (34) for having an Active Warrant out of Atascosa Co. for Fail to Appear on an Original Charge of Dangerous Drugs. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail. Driver Minnie Lee Whitehead (39) was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was cited and released.

Friday 8:09 AM Lt. Dear – Business Alarm Officer responded to Dollar General (14800 Blk. of Main St.) for an alarm, accidental activation by employee.

11:17 AM Lt. Dear – Suspicious Circumstances – Possible Human Smuggler Officer was advised by Atascosa Co. of a red Dodge possibly transporting human cargo illegally. Officer located the vehicle at IH 35 NB and conducted a stop. Officer determined information was bad and released the driver.

3:17 PM Lt. Dear / Chief Priest – Indecent Exposure Officers responded to HEB Plus (19300 Blk. of McDonald St.) for a report of a male who was in the parking lot exposing himself. Officers checked the area, unable to locate.

5:15 PM Lt. Dear / Chief Priest – Warrant Arrest While checking on two suspicious persons at a residence on FM 463, it was discovered they were in a verbal disturbance. Records check turned up that Tiffany Gordon (28) had an Active Warrant out of Bexar Co. for Probation Violation – Obstruct Highway Intoxication. Subject was transported to Medina Co. Jail.

6:58 PM Chief Priest – Civil Matter Complainant stopped by Lytle PD and talked to officer in reference to a civil matter – child custody.

11:55 pm Capt. Reyes – Reckless Driver / Intoxicated Driver Officer responded to IH 35 S for a report of a reckless driver/ intoxicated driver, officer was unable to locate.

Saturday 2:50 AM Capt. Reyes – Unsecured Front Door While patrolling the area of Cortez Rd., officer observed the front door of a residence partially ajar. The residence appeared undisturbed and officer closed the door.

1:03 PM Lt. Dear – Arrest Traffic stop on Main St. resulted in the arrest of Lonnie Verstuyft Jr. (20) for Possession of Marijuana < 2oz. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.

5:00 PM Sgt. Hanson – Theft Officer responded to HEB Plus (19300 Blk. of McDonald St.) for a report of a male who left the store with $315 worth of mostly beer and meat. The male was confronted by an employee in the parking lot and abandoned the cart and fled the scene.

7:00 PM Ofc. D. Lopez – Found Property Property found at Lytle Community Center (19000 Blk. of Priest Blvd.) was turned in.

11:00 PM Ofc. D. Lopez – Courtesy Ride Officer provided a courtesy ride to a male who was walking from Hester St. to Twin Lakes.

Sunday 2:55 AM Capt. Reyes – Verbal Disturbance Officer responded to 14900 Blk. of Adams St. for a report of a verbal disturbance. Officer arrived and made contact with both subjects, no offense occurred.

8:24 AM Lt. Dear – Assist Agency Officer responded to 300 Blk. of Falling Leaf to assist Atascosa Co. Deputy with a disturbance call.

1:31 PM Lt. Dear – Vehicle Lockout Officer responded to Hometown Depot (15300 Blk. of Main St.) to unlock a vehicle.

1:43 PM Lt. Dear – Business Alarm Officer responded to Brown’s Tackle and Gun (15100 Blk. of Adams St.) for an alarm. Building was found to be secure.

5:44 PM Lt. Dear – Loose Goat Officer responded to 19600 Blk. of Benton St. for a report of a loose goat in the area, officer was unable to locate.

7:42 PM Lt. Dear – Civil Matter Officer responded to 18600 Blk. of FM 2790 N for a report of a civil matter – child custody.
