CHRIS VAN HEERDEN SCORES BIG HOLLYWOOD VICTORY!!

Los Angeles, CA (May 14, 2015) On Wednesday night in Hollywood, California, world ranked welterweight CHRIS “The Heat” VAN HEERDEN improved to 23-1-1 (12KO’s) with a fourth round stoppage over battle tested veteran RAMON AYALA, 23-4-1 (11KO’s) in front of a huge crowd at the Dolby Theater in the main event of the annual Sugar Ray Leonard Foundation card.

“I’m very happy with my performance, Ayala was a tough, durable fighter but I’m glad to get back in the ring and look forward to my next opportunity”, said the 27-year-old Van Heerden, a native of South Africa, now residing in Southern California.

“This is what would have happened to Frankie Gavin,” continued Van Heerden. “I hope Eddie Hearn gives me a chance against Kell Brook.”
