NBA D-LEAGUE AFFILIATE - CANTON CHARGE

The Canton Charge (6-11), presented by SecureData 365 and powered by the Cleveland Cavaliers, enjoyed their largest victory of the season in a 120-95 rout of the Oklahoma City Blue (4-14) at home on Saturday night. The win was Canton’s second in their last three games. Canton set many individual and team season-bests throughout the night, highlighted by their most points in a single game and dishing out a season-high 31 assists as a team. Quinn Cook netted a game-high 24 points to go along with season-highs in rebounds (5) and assists (9). Nick Minnerath posted a double-double of 19 points and a season-high 12 boards off the bench for the Charge. Canton never led by less than double digits in the second half en route to their fifth home win of the season. Canton also nabbed a season-best 14 steals in the game.

Cristiano Felicio made a strong debut on assignment from the Chicago Bulls, scoring 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting with two blocks in 28 minutes. Jorge Gutierrez delivered an all- around effort of 10 points, four boards, eight assists, and four steals in 29 minutes. Sir’Dominic Pointer came off the bench to deliver 10 points, six rebounds, three steals, and two blocks in 22 minutes. C.J. Wilcox added 15 points and two steals in 22 minutes on assignment from the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Charge will next head to the 2015 NBA D-League Showcase for a pair of games, beginning with a matchup against the Idaho Stampede (Utah Jazz affiliate) on Wednesday, January 6th at 1:00 p.m. The Wine & Gold return home on Wednesday, January 20th at 11:00 a.m. for a matinee matchup with the Maine Red Claws ( affiliate). Cavaliers guard Joe Harris has appeared in 10 games for the Charge this season, averaging 16.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 33.0 minutes per game.

The Canton Charge are part of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Quicken Loans Arena organization and also owned by a group led by Cavaliers Majority Owner and Quicken Loans Founder and Chairman Dan Gilbert. ROCKIN’ THE Q: The Cavs opened the 2015-16 season at The Q on Oct. 30 against the Miami Heat, which was their 11th straight home opener sellout. The Cavs have sold out the arena in all 15 home games so far this season. To date, including regular season (355) and playoffs (45), there have been 400 sellouts at The Q and 66 consecutive sellouts (regular season and playoffs only dating back to 10/30/14).

 The Cavaliers sold out each of their 41 home games at Quicken Loans Arena in 2014-15, their second time selling out every game in the regular season (2009-10).  Cleveland also filled up the arena in all 10 home games during the 2015 Playoffs. th  The team’s 400 sellout (regular + post) at The Q came on Jan. 2, 2016 against Orlando.
