EASTERN CONFERENCE CROWN: The Cavaliers made their 19th playoff appearance in team history in the 2014-15 season. In last year’s playoff run, the Cavs advanced to the NBA Finals for the second time in franchise history (2007) and finished the postseason with a team record of 14 wins. En route to the NBA Finals, the Cavs swept Boston in the First Round (4-0), defeated Chicago in the Semifinals (4-2) and knocked off Atlanta (4-0).

THREE-HEADED MONSTER: LeBron James (25.3), Kyrie Irving (21.7) and Kevin Love (16.4) were the highest scoring trio in the NBA at 63.4 points per game in 2014-15. They each scored at least 20 points in the same game eight times this season (7-1) and at least 15 or more points 25 times (21-4).

- Since three-pointers became an official NBA stat in 1979-80, the 2014-15 Cavs were one of only two teams in league history with three players who tallied 1,200 points and 115 three-pointers in a single season, joining the 1995-96 Dallas Mavericks trio of , George McCloud and Jason Kidd.

- James (1,743), Irving (1,628) and Love (1,228) were the first Cavs trio to each score 1,200 points in a single season since 1992-93 (Brad Daugherty, Mark Price, ).

NBA Duos Averaging TWO OF A KIND: Kyrie Irving and LeBron James each averaged at least 20.0 points and 5.0 assists per game this year, becoming the fifth duo in NBA history to accomplish that feat. The two players scored at least 30 points each in the same game five times this 20.0 points and 5.0 assists (All- season (at UTA 11/5, vs. NOP 11/10, at LAC 1/16, at DET 1/27 and at SAS 3/12). They also each had at least 32 points and six assists twice this season for the Cavaliers (11/10 vs. NOP & 1/27 at DET), who never had a game in which two players had at least 30 points Time) and six assists in the same game prior to this season. In the 118-111 win over New Orleans on Nov. 10, Irving and James each posted a Player Teammates stat line of 32 points, nine assists and five rebounds, becoming just the third NBA duo since 1985-86 to accomplish that feat (Kendall 1968-69 Lakers Elgin Baylor & Jerry West Gill/Robert Pack of NJN on 1/13/97 & Michael Jordan/ of CHI on 3/31/91). 1971-72 Celtics & 1991-92 Bulls Michael Jordan & Scottie Pippen 2012-13 Heat LeBron James & LARGE MARGINS: The Cavs won by a margin of 25 or more points on nine occasions in 2014-15, setting a franchise record in 2014-15 CAVALIERS KYRIE IRVING & LEBRON JAMES that category (previously was eight set during the 1988-89 season).

• GRINDHOUSE VICTORY: The Cavs beat Memphis, who entered the game with a 50-21 record, by a score of 111-89 on March 25. It was the largest margin of victory the Cavs have ever produced on the road against a team that entered the outing at least 20 games over .500. The 22-point win also matches the biggest in team history over Memphis (3/14/07).

• BIGGEST WIN OVER DALLAS: On March 10 in Dallas, Cleveland defeated the Mavericks 127-94. The 33-point win was the Cavs’ largest in franchise history over the Mavericks. It was also the Cavs’ first road win ever by more than 20 points against a team that entered the game at least 15 games over .500. Four Cavs players (James, Love, Irving, Smith) each scored at least 20 points and grabbed five or more rebounds, which Cleveland hadn't done since 1987 (John Bagley, Brad Daugherty, Ron Harper and John Williams). • KNOCKING OFF THE CELTS: On March 3, the Cavaliers defeated the Boston Celtics 110-79. The 31-point win tied their largest margin of victory over the Celtics in franchise history (April 12, 2009). Boston was also outscored by at least 12 points in each of the first three periods of a game for the first time in Celtics’ history, according to the Elias Sports Bureau. Seven players scored in double figures for the Cavs, who held the Celtics to 79 points on an opponent season-low 31-88 (.352) shooting from the field. The Cavs also shot 14-14 from the line, the first time going perfect from the charity stripe since Dec. 28, 2012 vs. Atlanta (14-14).

• LARGEST WIN AT THE Q: The Cavaliers earned their largest victory of the season after defeating the by 39 points (129-90) on Jan. 23. Check out other marks the Cavs accomplished that night courtesy of the Elias Sports Bureau:

- The 39-point margin of victory was the largest in the arena’s history with the previous high being a 38-point win over the on Nov. 30, 1994 (117-79).

- The last time the Cavs won by at least 39 points was on Jan. 15, 1994 in a 110-67 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers at .

- Cleveland also set a Quicken Loans Arena record by scoring 129 points in regulation with the previous high mark being 127 (12/11/1999 vs. ATL & 11/15/2014 vs. ATL).

- The Cavs’ 35-point lead at halftime (75-40) against Charlotte became their new franchise record, besting the previous mark of 34 points during the first half against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Nov. 26, 2008 (66-32).

- Cleveland’s scored 75 points on 28-46 (.609) shooting from the field in the first half, including 7-11 (.636) from three-point range. The last time the Cavs scored at least 75 points in the first half was against the Atlanta Hawks on Dec. 11, 1999. The Cavs had all 13 players that saw the floor make a field goal in the victory.

• SECOND LARGEST ROAD WIN: The Cavs came out of the All-Star break with a 127-89 win in Washington on Feb. 20. The 38-point win was the Cavs’ biggest road win against the Wizards, the 2nd-largest margin of victory in a road game in franchise history (the Cavaliers won in Charlotte, 133-93, on Nov. 4, 1988,) and the second-largest home loss that the Wizards franchise has ever absorbed (When they were known as the Bullets, they once lost a home game by a 111-71 score to the Warriors on Nov. 22, 1975).

• MAGICAL ACT: The Wine and Gold defeated the 106-74 on Nov. 24 at The Q. Cleveland’s 32-point win over Orlando was their biggest ever against Orlando (prev. +27 twice, Feb. 23, 1990 and Dec. 4, 1996).

STRONG OFFENSE: During the 2014-15 regular season, the Cavs ranked among the NBA’s Top 10 in three-point percentage (5th, .367), points per game (8th, 103.1) and field goal percentage (8th, .458).

• REACHING 100: When scoring 100 points or more last season, the Cavs were 42-5 overall. The Wine and Gold hit the century mark in scoring in eight straight games from Jan. 13 to Jan. 27, which was the first time that happened since April 2-21, 1993 (11 games). The Cavs won 28 of their last 29 games when scoring at least 100 points. Cleveland was also a perfect 23-0 when shooting .500 or better from the field.

• The Cavs were even better when scoring at least 102 points this past season, as they held an NBA-best 40-2 (.952) mark based on winning percentage.

• The Cavs have had each of their five starters score in double figures 13 times this season (12-1), the most since 1993-94 (17 times).

• A PERFECT DISH: Cleveland dished out at least 30 assists eight times in 2014-15 (8-0). In a 113-93 win over the on Feb. 11, the Cavs had 32 assists on 43 field goals. In the previous game, a 120-105 win over the Lakers, the Cavs had 31 assists on 45 field goals. The last time the Cavs had 30 or more assists in back-to-back games was Dec. 11-14, 1999 (vs. ATL-33, vs. BOS-34).

• SCORING SPREAD: In a wire-to-wire 108-94 win over the on MLK Day at The Q (Jan. 19), all five players in the Cavs' starting lineup scored at least 15 points: James (26), Smith (20), Irving (18), Love (16) and Mozgov (15). It was the first time in almost 22 years that the starting five for the Cavs all scored at least 15 points in the same game. The last such instance was on March 16, 1993 against the 76ers: Mark Price (20 points), Gerald Wilkins (19), Larry Nance (19),Brad Daugherty (19) and Craig Ehlo (16). In the very next game, a 106-92 victory against Utah on Jan. 21, all five starters once again scored at least 15 points (James-26, Love-19, Irving-18, Mozgov-16, Smith-15), marking the first time in franchise history that’s happened in back-to-back games. No NBA team had done this since the L.A. Clippers on December 17 & 19, 2008. Nearly two months later, the Cavs had five players scored at least 17 points in a win in Dallas on March 10 (James-27, Irving-22, Love-21, Smith-21, Mozgov-17), the first time reaching that mark since Jan. 15, 1993 at Indiana (Price-23, Nance-24, Ehlo-22, Daugherty-25, Battle-17). • The Cavs were also 4-0 in 2014-15 when seven players score at least 10 points (3/18 vs. BKN, 3/3 vs. BOS, 2/11 vs. MIA and 11/7 at DEN).

• EXPLOSIVE OUTPUT: Cleveland scored at least 123 points in three straight road games from March 10-15, averaging 126.0 points on .524 shooting from the field in wins over Dallas (3/10), San Antonio (3/12) and Orlando (3/15). The last time the Cavs scored 123 points in three straight outings was Jan. 15-20, 1993. But it was the first time in team history that Cleveland has put up 123 or more points on the road in three consecutive games. • BLACKJACK: The Cavaliers scored the first 21 points of their 97-88 win over Charlotte on Dec. 15. The last NBA team to score at least the first 21 points of a game was Portland, who opened up a 22-0 lead against Boston on February 21, 2004. (Elias Sports Bureau)

• A BUNCH OF FIVES: Against the Hawks on Nov. 15, Cleveland dished out a season-high 39 assists, which were two shy of tying the Quicken Loans Arena record (41 vs. Detroit on 4/9/14). Five Cavs players dished out at least five or more assists (Waiters-8, James-7, Irving-5, Love-5, Varejao-5). The last time a Cavaliers squad was able to accomplish that was on Jan. 4, 1997 vs. Indiana (Bob Sura-7, Bobby Phills-5, Chris Mills-5, Danny Ferry-5, Terrell Brandon-5). (Elias Sports Bureau)

• GLASS CLEANERS: In the Cavs’ first ever win at the Barclays Center on Dec. 8, the Cavs outrebounded the Nets by 22 (55-33), their largest margin on the glass since Feb. 28, 2014 vs. Utah (+25, 56-31). Three Cavaliers pulled down at least 12 rebounds in the win (Love-14, Varejao-14, Thompson-12), which was the first time that has happened since Jan. 3, 1984 against Milwaukee (Jeff Cook-12, Paul Thompson-13, Lonnie Shelton-12). Thompson (8 offensive) and Varejao (7 offensive) became the first pair of Cavs to pull down at least seven offensive boards in a game since Nov. 7, 2006 vs. Atlanta (-7, Drew Gooden-7). BIG ADDITIONS: In his first season as a Cavalier, Kevin Love posted a team-high 38 double-doubles (tied-10th in NBA) and averaged 16.4 points and 9.7 rebounds (12th in NBA) in 33.8 minutes per game in 2014-15. He also ranked 5th in defensive rebounds per game at 7.9 and was the only NBA player in 2014-15 to make at least 50 three-pointers, while averaging at least 9.0 rebounds. Love hit 144 triples this season. The next closest player who averaged at least 9.0 rebounds was Portland’s LaMarcus Aldridge with 37 three-pointers. The Cavs had several other key acquisitions who made huge impacts last season:

• J.R. SMITH: In 46 games (45 starts) with Cleveland, J.R. Smith made three or more three-pointers 23 times and averaged 12.7 points, including a .390 clip from beyond the arc, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.4 steals in 31.8 minutes per game. He had at least one three-pointer in 38 of those 46 contests with the Cavs. Smith also has hit a season-high eight three-pointers a Cavaliers-record three times this season (at PHX 1/13, vs. CHI 4/5 & vs. DET 4/13). He has 13 games with at least eight three-pointers, which is the most in NBA history. He is also the first Cavs player to record three games with eight triples in a single season.

• TIMOFEY MOZGOV: After acquiring Timofey Mozgov, the Cavs went 34-12, including 20-1 at The Q. Overall, Mozgov appeared in 46 games (45 starts) with the Wine and Gold and averaged 10.6 points on .590 shooting from the field, 6.9 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 25.0 minutes per game. He also notched nine double-doubles and at least one block in 34 of his 46 games as a Wine and Gold member.

• IMAN SHUMPERT: Since Iman Shumpert made his Cavaliers debut on Jan. 23, he ranked third on the team in steals per game (1.3) and second in total steals (51). NBA D-LEAGUE AFFILIATE - CANTON CHARGE

The Canton Charge, the Cavaliers exclusively-owned D-League team, enjoyed a banner franchise year in 2014-15. Along with their successes on the court in tallying the most wins in franchise history (31-19), Canton was guided to their fourth-straight playoff appearance by their top scoring defense in the NBA Development League, with first-year Head Coach Jordi Fernandez’s team holding opponents to 95.2 points per game.

The Charge also saw prominent growth off the court as a business, spending a franchise-record 847 hours in the community this year and working with organizations with strong ties throughout the Northeast Ohio community such as the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank, Canton City Schools, United Way of Stark County, the LeBron James Family Foundation, Aultman Hospitals, and Akron Children’s Hospital. A new franchise-record 72,345 came out to the Memorial Civic Center to support the Charge this season, including a single-game best 4,119 on Fan Appreciation Night (4/3) and 4,032 to see the Charge win on Cavs Night (1/31), both exceeding a sellout (3,942). Overall ticket revenue was up over 40% this past season, with significant increases in single game ticket revenue and our group programs from last year. CLEVELAND CAVALIERS OFF THE COURT NOTES

THE CAVALIERS ON RADIO: Cavaliers fans will be able to follow the club all season long on the 50,000-watt flagship station News Radio WTAM 1100 and the Cavs Radio Network. Each broadcast begins 30 minutes prior to game time with the “First Merit Tip-Off Show,” hosted by Mike Snyder. Calling the game action will be John Michael and Cavalier Legend Jim Chones. Then following each game, fans can participate in the “Postgame Call-In Show,” featuring comments from players in both locker rooms, Coach Blatt’s postgame press conference, and live reports and highlights from other games around the league. Fans can also hear the “Discount Drug Mart Cavaliers Insider Radio Show,” every Monday during the regular season. ROCKIN’ THE Q: The Cavaliers sold out each of their 41 home games at Quicken Loans Arena in 2014-15. The Cavs opened last season at The Q on Oct. 30 against the , which was their 10th straight home opener sellout, as well as the 300th regular season sellout at The Q. Cleveland also filled up the arena in all 10 home games during the 2015 Playoffs. To date, including regular season (340) and playoffs (45), there have been 385 sellouts at The Q.

CAVS TO HOST PRIVATE YOUTH BASKETBALL CLINIC AT FRIARS CLUB IN CINCY: Before the Cleveland Cavaliers tip off their #AllForOhio preseason with a game against Atlanta in Cincinnati on Wednesday, the team will host local students at a private basketball clinic on Tuesday, October 6. Cavs assistant coach will lead 70 third and fourth grade boys and girls through a fundamental skills clinic at Friars Club Tuesday evening. Players Mo Williams, Sasha Kaun, Quinn Cook, Jared Cunningham, , Chris Johnson, Nick Minnerath and DJ Stephens will also be on hand to assist with the young athletes. Each student will then get to go home with their own Cavaliers basketball. Friars Club is dedicated to serving the special needs of Cincinnati’s at-risk children through organized sports, activity, nutrition and fitness.
