Follow I-80 East to I-680, Youngstown. Take Exit 4A, Route 422 East and proceed to the Fifth Avenue exit. Proceed through the traffi c light and along the access road to Fifth Avenue and campus. From the north (Ashtabula): Take Route 11 South to I-80 West. Take Route 711 South (exits left). Exit at Gypsy Lane and make a left onto Gypsy. Cross Belmont Ave. (Rt. 193); at the fourth traffi c light after Belmont, turn right onto Fifth Ave. Drive down Fifth until you get to Rt. 422 and athletic facilities will be on your left. From the east (western Pennsylvania): Take I-80 to Route 711 South (Exits left). Exit at Gypsy Lane and make a left onto Gypsy. Cross Belmont Ave. (Rt. 193); at the fourth traffi c light after Belmont, turn right onto Fifth Ave. Drive down Fifth until you get to Rt. 422 and athletic facilities will be on your left. From the southeast (Pittsburgh): Take the PA Turnpike to Exit 234 (16A) on the Ohio Turn- pike. From there, take I-680 approximately 10 miles to Exit 6B (Route 62 and Hubbard). Follow signs for YSU and take Route 422 West. Take the second Exit (Fifth Av- enue) and turn left on Fifth. From the south: Take Ohio Route 11 North to I-680. From I-680, take Exit 4A, Route 422 East. Exit the freeway at Fifth Av- enue. Proceed through the traffi c light and along the access road to Fifth Avenue and campus. From the west (Akron): Take I-71 or I-77 to I-76 East. Where I-80 and I-76 divide, follow I-80 until it intersects with I-680 to Youngstown. Follow I-680 to Exit 4A, Route 422 East. Exit the 422 freeway at Fifth Avenue. Pro- ceed through the traffi c light and along the access road to Fifth Avenue and campus. Page 3 Football Gameday Information Gameday Parking Fans arriving early, approximately 1 1/2 - 3 hours prior to kick-off, suggested parking will be the M-2 Deck located on Fifth Ave. Ap- proximately 1 1/2 hours prior to kick-off, available parking will be in the M-1 Wick Ave. Deck. YSU parking services and WRTA will offer shuttle service to all fans beginning 90 minutes prior to kick-off. The shuttle will depart every 15minutes from the M-1 Parking Deck and M-26 tailgate lot, and take fans to Gate C of Stambaugh Stadium. Return service will begin half-way through the fourth quarter, and run up to one hour after the conclusion of the game. Handicap Parking Handicap parking is available behind the east side stands. Access to the handicap parking area is from the Service Road behind the North end zone. Also, Handicap parking is available in the M-1 deck. Shuttle buses that run from the M-1 deck are equipped with disability lifts. Gates • GATE A (North end zone) • GATE B (Fifth Ave.) • GATE C (Fifth Ave.) • GATE D (Corner of Spring St. & Fifth Ave.) • GATE E (East Stands) Gates open 90 minutes prior to kick-off of each game. Fans with east side tickets may enter the stadium through Gate E or Gate A. Fans with tickets in section 4 - 7 are encouraged to use Gate B and fans with tickets in section 1-4 to use Gate C. Gates B, C, D and E are handicap accessible. Stadium Policies • No one without a ticket or credential will be allowed into the stadium. • All persons, including fans, are subject to search. • Any fan with an item or bag which does not pass security standards will be asked to take the item back to his or her vehicle or dispose of the item. • There is NO READMISSION into Stambaugh Stadium. • Fans are asked to refrain from throwing objects onto the fi eld or in the stands. • Sitting on stadium walls is not permitted. • Disruptive behavior or abuse directed towards fans will not be tolerated and will result in immediate ejection from the stadium. • Stambaugh Stadium is a non-smoking facility. Designated smoking areas are located at the end of the north and south ramps on the main con- course level. East side smoking areas are directly behind the east side stands. Security Rules and Regulations • No alcoholic beverages are permitted in Stambaugh Stadium. • Bottles, cans and coolers are not permitted into public areas of the stadium. • No backpacks, fanny packs, coolers, bags, containers of any size, televisions or cameras will be allowed in the stadium. • No bags or totes containing clothing items of any kind will be allowed in the stadium. • Other prohibited items include fl asks, umbrellas and weapons of any kind (including off-duty police weapons, pipes of any size or chains). • Pagers, cell phones and small purses are permissible (All purses are subject to search). • Appropriate apparel for weather conditions may be worn or carried through the gates. • Fans with special health and medical related problems should report to the main ticket offi ce at the north end of Stambaugh Stadium (All medical-related bags are subject to search). • Only items required for health and medical problems will be permitted through the gates. • No one without a ticket or credential will be allowed into the stadium. • All persons, including fans are subject to search.
