MEETINGS STRAIGHT SHOT FROM THE PRESIDENT Board Meeting 1st Thursday Hello Everyone, 6:30 PM - Club House General Meeting We had our first board meeting with the 2nd Thursday new board last week and I discovered that 7:15 PM Club House these guys are not short winded. It was a four hour meeting and the new members came in with great ideas and a lot OFFICERS of enthusiasm. A lot of good suggestions came up and you will hear about them in the near future. President Denny Martin LM 760-749-0589 Don Brunt came up to finalize his task of inventory of our assets for [email protected] insurance purposes. This task took Don a long time to do and I want Vice President to personally thank him and those who contributed in completing that Jeff Hawkes enormous task. At some point in time, it doesn’t hurt to put a value on 760-295-6638 what we own. I don’t think Don left any stones unturned.

Secretary Neil Pisk One of the subjects that we covered at the board meeting is the lack of 760-781-1289 [email protected] participation to perform range master duties. It seems that we have a few good men! What I mean is, there are a few people who put in a lot of Treasurer hours at the range and not a whole lot of participation beyond that. As Raymond Hug 760-726-3291 always, we will have a range master’s appreciation day this year but it will Board Members be handled a little different. In other words, if you are not showing up Ray Bucholz LM 760-741-0668 to do your duty once a month, we need to have some notification and re- Craig Busby LM 858-486-3522 scheduling. There are lots of open hours for you to participate. In other Linda Linaker 760-749-6574 words, we don’t want to see any strangers at the appreciation day. Read Kevin Miller LM 760-480-7267 your range master’s sound off for more information. Ray Osgood LM 760-489-5619 Bill Savage 760-724-5489 I want to close by saying that we are trying new ideas for encouraging Chief Range Officer people to come up to the general membership meetings. One of the new Ray Bucholz LM 760-741-0668 ideas is that Jeff and Linda are preparing a quick meal for us. The cost is very low and any profits go directly to the club. We have been having great Asst. Chief Range Officer Neil Pisk 760-781-1289 turnouts lately and we just want to make the trip more worthwhile for you. Association Clerk Donna Harmon 760-735-9496 Thanks everyone, [email protected] Bulletin K.L.
