John Kraft CFP®, Financial Advisor and the B’LASTER Walleye “Fall Brawl” Proudly announce two $1000.00 Scholarships to be awarded to one young man and young woman Eligibility: Any high school age child that submits an application that includes a written/typed paragraph (500-750 words) on “Your best time fishing”. In order to participate in the scholarship contest, entrants must meet the following criteria: Must be a high school age student Must be in good academic standing at your current educational institution Must submit all required entry materials and supply all required information by the deadline; Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent U.S. resident Must have read and agree to the General Rules & Disclaimers Does not have to be a registered participant for the 2020 Walleye Fall Brawl Applications will be reviewed by a three-person Scholarship committee made up of volunteers from the Fall Brawl registrants. Deadline: Entries must be received by November 8, 2020. Please include the following: Full Name High school attending Year of Graduation City, State Phone number Entries can be sent by either: Mail /Email Walleye Fall Brawl LLC. 4540 Bunker Rd North Royalton OH 44133 Emailed to [email protected] Winners will be notified prior but will not be announced on December 4, 2020. General Rules & Disclaimers Entrants must meet the Scholarship Contest eligibility requirements Entries must comply with submission process The submitted written paragraph must be entirely the original work of the student entrant Any plagiarism will disqualify the Entry from consideration The submitted written paragraph must be submitted by only one entrant All entries will be reviewed initially by Walleye Fall Brawl Committee Entrants must provide all required information on the entry form All entries submitted to Walleye Fall Brawl LLC in connection with this contest, along with all copyright, trademark and other proprietary rights associated therewith, become the property of Walleye Fall Brawl LLC or Raymond James to publish, copy, display, distribute and -reproduce at its discretion and may be published electronically or otherwise by Walleye Fall Brawl LLC or Raymond James Entry materials will not be returned to any entrant The 2 first prize winners (one boy and one girl) will be selected by our Selection Committee. The First Prize winners will each be awarded a $1,000 scholarship Winners will be notified prior to the announcement on December 4, 2020 The award check will be made payable to one of the following o The award recipient’s institution of higher learning, to be used for tuition or related expenses such as books and supplies o To an established 529 College savings plan o Or a 529 College savings plan can be established for the winner Walleye Fall Brawl LLC will make every effort to review every paragraph submitted, but Walleye Fall Brawl LLC is not responsible for any failure to judge an Entry By taking part in this written scholarship contest and/or accepting a prize, each entrant and his or her parents or legal guardians release and agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Walleye Fall Brawl LLC or Raymond James and each of its partners or employees, from and against any and all liability and costs in connection with any claim from any liability, injury, damages, cost, or expense, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising out of or connected to participation in the contest or the acceptance, possession, or use or misuse of any prizes Each student applicant must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent U.S. resident and be accepted to or enrolled at an institution of higher learning Employees of Walleye Fall Brawl LLC or Raymond James and immediate family are not eligible to enter the written contest. .
