COUNTY COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICE (City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2018 [Prohibition of Waiting (Revocation and Proposals) on Bolston Road, Woolhope Road and The Hill Avenue, Worcester] Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester: Woolhope Road (both sides) from its junction with The Hill Avenue for a distance of 10 metres in a north westerly direction; (south west side) from its junction with Bolston Road for a distance of 7 metres in a south easterly direction and 7 metres in a north westerly direction. Bolston Road (both sides) from its junction with Woolhope Road for a distance of 7 metres in a south westerly direction. The Hill Avenue (north west side) from its junction with Woolhope Road for a distance of 10 metres in a north easterly direction and 10 metres in a south westerly direction. Revoke prohibition of waiting at any time Bolston Road (both sides) from a point 10 metres from its junction with Bath Road for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes. (A4440 Broomhall Way, C2287 St Peter’s Drive, A4440 Crookbarrow Way, C2055 Norton Road, Worcester)(Temporary 30 MPH and 40 MPH Speed Limits) Order 2018 Order made: to impose a temporary 30 MPH speed limit on that part of A4440 Broomhall Way, C2287 St Peter’s Drive, A4440 Crookbarrow Way, C2055 Norton Road, Worcester as follows:- (a) A4440 Broomhall Way – from its junction with C2055 Norton Road Roundabout for a distance of 136.3 metres in a westerly direction. (b) A4440 Crookbarrow Way – from its junction with C2055 Norton Road Roundabout for a distance of 75 metres in easterly direction. (c) C2055 Norton Road – from its junction with A4440 Broomhall Way Roundabout for a distance of 57 metres in southerly direction. (d) C2287 St Peter’s Drive – from its junction with C2055 Norton Road Roundabout for a distance of 52 metres in a northerly direction. The A4440 Crookbarrow Way, Worcester (Temporary 40 M.P.H. speed limit) Order 2017 is hereby revoked in its entirety. Order also imposes a temporary 40 MPH speed limit on that part of the highway, at a speed exceeding 40 MPH on the lengths of A4440 Broomhall Way and A4440 Crookbarrow Way as follows:- (a) A4440 Broomhall Way – commences from a point 136.3 metres west of its junction with C2055 Norton Road Roundabout for a distance of 345.7 metres in a westerly direction. (b) A4440 Crookbarrow Way – commences from a point 207m west of its junction with the A44 Whittington Road Roundabout to a point 75 m east of the Norton Road Roundabout. Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 6 months. Work commenced: 18 December 2017. (U41006 Lower Town/Kennels Lane, Fernhill Heath)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018 Order made: to close that part of U4100 Lower Town/Kennels Lane, Fernhill Heath from its junction with C2138 Dilmore Lane to its junction with U41008 Station Road in order to facilitate carriageway works by WCC. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2138 Dilmore Lane, A38 Droitwich Road, U41008 Station Road and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days Commencing: 5 February 2018. (C1066 Pound Lane, )(Temporary Closure) Order 2018 Proposed Order: to close that part of C1066 Pound Lane, Clifton upon Teme from its junction with B4204 The Village to its junction with Pound Meadow in order to facilitate Severn Trent works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: B4204 The Village, C2072 Hope Lane, C2072 Clifton Upon Teme, C2072 Hollybush Lane, C2072 Tedstone Wafre to Boundary, B4203 Tedstone Wafre (Herefordshire County), Tedstone Delamere (Herefordshire County), Meadow Green (Herefordshire County), Little Tedney ( Herefordshire County), C1066 Pound Lane and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days Commencing: 24 February 2018.
