As a result of this hard work, 33 submis- sions were received for the Exemplary Student Branch Award, which is a new record. We also received 10 submissions for the Larry K Wilson Regional Student Activities Award and 21 submissions for the Region 8 Website Contest. We have supported IEEEmadC contest through our Facebook page and official website. Our team, along with the Region 8 Young Professionals, has also recently released the IEEE R8 SYP Congress 2016 Call for Proposals.
